This is a smaller garden with separate "rooms" each with it's on theme. It sits by Mirror Lake which adds to the experience and admission is free. It is available to rent out, I imagine mostly for weddings. It is next door to the Garden Bistro which you should also visit.

Beautiful Hollis Garden is very well maintained by the city of Lakeland's Parks Dept. It is well located on the edge of scenic Lake Morton and centrally located to downtown and good eateries. Good parking. Great place for weddings. This gem was from private funding of prominent local family. Many thanks to them!

I had my wedding reception at Hollis Garden inside the Magnolia Building! Hollis Garden was such a beautiful and scenic location for my wedding photographs with Lake Mirror in the background. This is also a great place to take walks and relax while being surrounded by nature.

Visiting Hollis Gardens is a very relaxing and beautiful afternoon, many different themed gardens which change with the seasons, always interesting when speaking with the volunteers who are so knowledgeable about the individual gardens they take ownership in. Great place for many many photo opportunities, weddings, grad pics, engagement pics, or just fun family pics and pics with friends.

wonderful quiet space with lovely gardens, friendly gardeners and a great view of lake Mirror and the historic Francis Langford promenade. Masses of fragrant roses lead you to excellent mid priced Nuevo Southern cuisine at The Garden Bistro restaurant just a few steps away

This public garden along Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland is a joy to stroll through. It has classic formal aspects and a bit of whimsey as well. It is well tended with beautiful tropical plants including the largest staghorn fern I have ever seen. The garden is just off the well-used path that circles the lake. There is no charge... More

I live in Lakeland and have been here many times. Each area of the garden they call "rooms" There is a yellow room, a red room, a tropical room, a vegetable room etc. It's nice to go here from Mid October to April when it isn't so hot. There is a waterfall over a rock wall and a koi pond.... More

We take all of our out of town company to Hollis Gardens. Beautiful setting along Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. Totally free & you can take all the time you want to wander among the flowers & plants. Not a large garden so it's not a day trip but just a nice stopover after lunch or shopping.

When I first moved to Lakeland and went exploring this was one of my favorite places that I found. Lake Mirror is beautiful and located in the charming downtown area. And Hollis Gardens is a beautiful little botanical garden, and very peaceful. I take everyone who comes to visit me to this park.
