Positioned on the south east side of Mirror Lake, Hollis Gardens is a jewel in downtown Lakeland's landscape. Donated by the family that bares it's name many years ago, each part of the garden has a symbolic reference to Lakeland history. Beautifully maintained by a full-time crew, the park is usually in top form. Music plays throughout the gardens as... More

I have 4 small grandchildren and Hollis Gardens is a favorite spot for their photographer to take their photos. There are plenty of beautiful spots to pose them and use the beautiful scenery for a background. A beautiful spot for professional and amateur photographers.

Very nice gardens. Good for a stroll if you're downtown. They change the plants with the seasons so there's always something new.

As with all City of Lakeland Parks, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. On many occasions, a wedding may be in full progress. This is a photographers dream.

Great photo ops - flowers, fountains, ducks, and sculptures. Lovely setting for family photos, weddings and just spending a relaxing day. Steps away from the Garden Bistro, and the Terrace Hotel.

Seldom does a medium sized city offer a park with such beautiful amenities. The gardens grow all sorts of plants and have fountains and grottos. All of this overlooks lake Mirror and a promenade from the early 20th century. Adjacent the gardens is another kids park with all manner of equipment plus a splash zone. Many weekends there are live... More
