Great place to go read a book, while surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers (even though you're right near a highway), it's an escape. Also a great place for a date, picnic, wedding, homecoming/prom photos, etc. Even in Winter, the trees and greenery are still very pretty, but Spring and Summer are the most colorful times. Such a perfect spot... More

This garden is beautiful to walk through. It's a perfect place to have a wedding, go on a date, or eat a picnic. It is well maintained. Restrooms are nearby. When you get done visiting the garden, be sure to walk around the lake a time or two. If you have kids there is an amazing play area nearby. If... More

This wonderful garden over looks Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland. It has a wide range of plants and flowers. It is well landscaped and carefully cared for. It is just nice to walk around and revel in the scenery and the plants and flowers. It is a great gift from the Hollis Family to the city of Lakeland.

While in Lakeland you have to go to Hollis Garden. It is beautiful and very relaxing atmosphere. Just walk around and enjoy the flowers and scenery. My In-Laws were married here. Don't miss out.

If you're walking round Lake Mirror, don't miss Hollis Garden -- but don't make a special journey to find it. There are very nice plants and flowers, some decent statuary, and pleasant music. What there isn't is much of anything. Think of this as a pleasant formal garden, rather than a botanical treat, and you won't be disappointed. It is... More

Was a little disappointed this time. With it being May I expected to see more blooms in the garden. Still pretty but not as lush as in October. It is free to the public. So I hope they are getting the funding they need.

Very nice and the staff was very helpful in making sure the wedding went off with out a hitch. The Garden was great for pictures after the event. If there is no events going on, it is nice to just walk around the garden and see the beauty.

This is an ever changing garden. The plantings are spectacular as the view of the lake and park . Parking is easy

I love it but wish it was a bit bigger. I am looking to get married somewhere and it's 1k here, $500+ for renting it and $500+ to put down but will get back after the event. It's a nice garden still, but a bit pricey to rent out for 2 hours...

Variety of garden rooms with different themes. Unusual plants for most nontropical places. There was a beautiful wedding going on in some of the rooms while we were there.
