I don't want to review this place because I don't want it to get too busy or crowded, what a treat! We went for a nature walk and what a surprise! Pulling up in the parking lot we spotted an Armadillo and thought that was so cool, and it just kept getting better. On our 2 mile walk we saw... More

We have been here before and are stunned that 50% of the bird population has disappeared over the last 4 years. A sad reflection on Global climates

My husband and I visited the reserve today. We had heard about it when we were in Florida last year, but didn't get to it. Today showed that we should have made the effort sooner. It was terrific. We are both amateur photographers and got an amazing number of photos. In three hours we got photos of osprey, bald eagles,... More

I met some people at another local nature park who told me about this place. I wish I had learned about it YEARS ago. It is Florida the way it is meant to be! I hiked around for nearly 6 hours and took almost 700 pictures of the birds and scenery. The reserve includes a lake, many ponds, woodlands and... More

The Circle B Bar Reserve is a beautiful and wonderful place to spend a whole day. The landscape is beautiful with its beautiful old oak trees and waterways, and the wildlife is fascinating. I took many good photos of Bald Eagles, Ospreys, Great Blue Herons, and many others. This place is clean and well kept, and it is free.

With over 1200 acres to explore, make a reservation for the FREE guided tour via tram. Our group saw 50 different species of birds in just 4 hours. And the wildlife is so abundant & close for excellent photography! Find time to check out the gorgeous Nature Discovery Center, too, if you are a first-time visitor.

This is one of my favorite places to bird watch! Always something to see here, no matter what time of year you visit. Bald eagles, Black-bellied whistling ducks, Purple Gallinules, Barred Owls, Least bitterns, all kinds of song birds and of course gators. Wear comfy shoes, there's miles of trails. And bring a camera, cause you never know what you... More

Large car park, lovely visitor centre. Shame there's no cafe but we'd taken a packed lunch. We saw a family of bald eagles, ospreys, pelicans, limpkins, belted kingfishers, loads of variety of herons and egrets. We were lucky enough to see gators, big and small, armadillos, opposum and were so so lucky to get a shot of three racoons just... More

My family really enjoyed this natural gem. Combination of lake, marsh, wetlands and bird sanctuary all-in-one. An armadillo may greet you as head away from the visitor parking. We saw several types of egrets, ospreys and herons. Spread out along the lakeshore, the marsh area and dirt road, we observed at least a dozen gators of various sizes. They were mostly... More
