This was a beautiful ranch. You could tell the owners really cared for the animals and their habitat. I am sorry there wasn't a resident discount in the winter too, but I'm sure it costs a lot to feed and maintain the animals so it was worth it. JJ was our guide and she taught us all something. She was... More

Just want to say this was an awesome experience and i will be talking about it for a long time. The guides and all workers were all very knowledgeable and seemed to really like what they do. I will try and get others to experience this trip and will certainly share my pics with others. Ride the camels and you... More

We love animals, so it was great to go on a safari adventure to see and feed exotic (like the Zedonk---a cross of Zebra and donkey!) African and Asian animals roaming free, rather than in a zoo. There are no predators (go to the Big Cat Rescue for that) but there were plenty of big guys like water buffalo and... More

I didn't know what to expect and I had not ever heard of the place. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I bought the tour on Groupon. The price was great! I am thrilled to know we have such a cool place right here in Polk County. All the staff was wonderful. The animals are very well kept and it... More

This place is not wildly exciting, and I certainly wouldn't rank it as a MUST SEE. However, I did truly enjoy it. Relaxing. Laid back. Easy going. You ride a bus through the pastures, stopping here and there while the guide tells you about the animals. No tigers or lions. No rhinos or elephants. But they do have some cool... More

Kathy was our guide and she was amazing. She would stop to explain and answer questions often. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and buy the water buffalo food at the register..........in fact buy 2. Be aware that there is an additional fee for parking on top of the admission fee.

A wonderful time spending a morning excursion here. The staff clearly loves working here and their enthusiasm is contagious. Our guide, Kathy, knew the animals by name and had a thorough knowledge of their behavior and needs. It was eye opening to see many of these creatures able to roam as opposed to being in cages. I opted to feed... More

Took my adult niece and her two children ages 7 & 11 - they loved this park and listed it first on their list of the "funnest " things they did all week! (that includes going to LEGOLAND and Disneys Hollywood Studio's!) They fed water buffalo, deer like creatures, ostriches, and lemurs - rode a camel - this old lady... More

We went here for my 50th birthday and absolutely loved it!! Our guide, Kathy, was excellent. We did not expect to see and learn about so many different animals. We fed giant water buffalo and lemurs and the safari jeep ride was so fun. You could easily view the animals. A bargain in my opinion for such an amazing experience.
