Took my kids to their first baseball game a few weeks ago. My youngest son got to run the rosin bag out to the pitchers mound and my oldest son got to announce "Play ball". Also, managed to snag two foul balls during the game. On Monday nights they have a one dollar special--dollar tickets, dogs, chips, etc. This is... More

When in Lakeland in the spring you must take in a Detroit Tigers pre-season badeball game. Nice little stadium and a fun time.

This is a great little ballpark. Sit back and enjoy the game! I have attended many Detroit Tigers and Lakeland Tigers games and am never disappointed. Food is standard ballpark faire. Service is always good.

Attended last home Spring Training Game of the spring and enjoyed it. Would try and get seats in the shade if in area again this time of year. Glad I was able to see a game here!

Not a top 5 facility, but pretty nice. Parking was a little tight here, but my buddy and I came here for spring training and enjoyed visiting this facility. We came here for a Detroit Tigers Spring Training game and the park and service were very good. My top 2 favorite spring training ballparks are still Brighthouse Field and ESPN... More

Cool stadium which is the Spring training home for the Detroit Tigers and summer home of the Lakeland Flying Tigers. It was built on the old airstrip of the Flying Tigers in the WWII era. As a result, the ground is very compacted and is prone to flooding. So when it rains, you can count on the game being cancelled.

Nice intimate stadium. Easy to get to, close parking. The only thing that we didn't like is that very few seats are shaded. Most seats were sold out so we sat on the berm. It was HOT! Security there was friendly and helpful.

The stadium is really nice and well kept up. The berm makes it look like a postcard with all the palm trees. Quite a change from watching the Tigers in Detroit, but the distances were very similar. It was great to see all the players up and personal, right from the parking lot into the stadium. I was there b/w... More

My wife and I had tickets for a Tigers game in March, 2014 but the game was rained out. I was very excited to finally get to watch a game at Joker Marchant as it celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. Lakeland is clearly a Tigers town and that adds to the appeal for a lifelong baseball fan. The stadium... More

Unlike the many new ballparks for Spring Training, this one is old school. This was their 50th year of operations. So the stands are not the most appealing but there's something very nice about being in an older park. It reminded me of the stadiums I went to as a kid, many years ago. If you're in the area, it's... More
