I was very upset at the fact that when me and my family went to the cow camp that we were discriminated against because the people I was with were of Spanish decent. The old man that was there completely ignored us. And family member was visiting from Colombia and when the old man went to yell at her about... More

Lake Kissimmee is abundent with birds, fish, and wildlife. There are a number of ways to observe or interact. If you have a boat you can move among the tall grasses, remembering there are 100,000 lakes and streams in this area. Lake Tohopekalia is nearer Kissimmee, but not part of Lake Kissimmee State Park. The Park has clean facilities, camping,... More

We enjoyed visiting Lake Kissimmee State Park and even saw an eagles nest and could see the baby eagles perched way above.

We started our trip about 30 minutes away at a well known resort. While there was a lot to do the "campsite" there was an empty field and there was no electrical hook ups. We moved our travel trailer to Lake Kissimmee State Park and found beautiful camp sites and full water and electrical hook ups for 1/4 the price... More

My husband and I reserved this State Park when we could not find a vacancy in any of the area parks and are we ever happy the other parks were full!!!! This State Park is a hidden gem. The sites are huge and secluded, the washrooms modern and convenient, and the Cow Camp is informative and fun! Make sure you... More

We loved this park and it is well worth the visit! The drive in is a bit of an adventure as the road is narrow, but you won't be disappointed in the beauty of the park.

My husband and I (both retired) took our bicycles on the trails that loop along the lake. We were warned by the ranger at the registration booth that the trails were in rough shape because of a lot of rain the previous week. We ended up walking our bikes a lot and getting our shoes pretty wet trying to get... More

We camped here in a travel trailer. Our site was large, level, and private. The comfort stations are nice and bright and clean. Laundry facilities available. Hosts have firewood for sale. There are many trails for walking or biking. So e were covered in water, but still enough were passable. The 3 mile road from the gate to camp site... More

Really nice park. Excellent place to launch your fishing boat. The people working there were very nice and helpful. There is a tower to climb up and it has a great view. Great place for a picnic.
