We went early to avoid the heat, and even though the grounds are cascaded with construction, it was such a pleasure to be here. We kenneled our little dog in the shady dog pen provided, and took a leisurely walk to the tower. The beautiful fresh air view and heart-calming ambience surrounding the Tower is unchanged. We look forward to... More

A quiet and beautiful get away in Central Florida away from the amusement park crowds. Wonderful gardens with many walking paths, flowers and birds. A great 3 or 4 hour relaxing spot in the midst of the Disney/Legoland/Universal crowds.

There is so much history in the heart of Florida once you get away from the Theme Parks. This is one of them. A lovely gardens large enough for a comfortable stroll. There is an interpretive center where the history of the Tower comes alive. A nice cafe is located next to the center. The Tower has carillon bells that... More

The old spanish style residence on the property is beautiful. The surrounding residential grounds are stunning. The Bok tower is an amazing musical instrument, set upon the hill top, covered in grand oaks, overlooking the horizon. Serene. Two sandhill cranes allowed to photograph them close up. They even turned their heads to their best side!

I was with a group of 15; we spent about 3 hours at Bok Tower Gardens. We had lunch there. Everything was made and packaged after your had ordered and paid for it. Sandwiches were expensive but very tasty. We stayed for the 1 PM playing of the carillon. Few of us watched the man playing the carillon on closed-circuit... More

Bok "Singing" Tower Botanical Gardens were a complete surprise to me. They were beautiful to roam through, enjoying the breeze through the trees, and listen to the 60 bells in the Bok Tower provide a lovely concert. This is so different than the "Disney-hype". If you want to get away and enjoy an afternoon - this is a place to... More

This is great place to visit if you have the time after the hustle and intensity of the theme parks. There are great gardens and the views are spectacular. This is probably the highest point in all of Florida. Make sure you are there during the playing of the Carillon. This a nature conservatory with many species of plants only... More

If you are a nature lover you will truly enjoy your day at Bok Tower. There are so many different varieties of plants and flowers that it will take you hours to get to the tower and rest in the shade while waiting for the bells to ring in the tower. Be sure to spend time browsing the gift shop... More

This is a special place with incredible gardens in an incredibly wonderful setting on the high point of peninsular Florida. The "Singing Tower", now called Bok Tower (after it's builder and founder) is one of the few carillons in the US, and features live carillon concerts weekly. The on-site restaurant is really quite good with original fare in a gorgeous... More

Incredible views from the hilltop, can be windy up above, so bring a light jacket, some paths and undergoing renovation, so wear old shoes-you'll be walking on dirt part of the way. I wish you could get closer to the Tower to see the detail, so if you want to see up close, bring binoculars, wish I had... Bring quarters... More
