Although the tower and garden is not close the most convenient it is worth the effort. First of all, there are hills, and tranquility. In addition, the gardens are breathless. If you enough nature and trails, there isn't a better place in the state! Also, I can't under emphasize how drastic the gothic style bell tower appears in the botanical... More

One of the highest areas in Florida, 298 ft. above sea level. Bok Tower, known as the "Singing Tower" is another 205 ft. It has a shining brass door and 60 bell carillon (which is the center piece) of the 75 acre gardens. The woodlands are pine, palms, oaks with moss, ferns; and 150 varieties of azaleas, camellias, and magnolias... More

A great place to amble among ornamental plants, flowers, and trees. Periodically you hear the tower bells which adds a peaceful feeling to the surroundings. Visitor center gives the history of Edward Bok's contribution. Attractive gift shop and great little restaurant for sandwiches, salad, and ice cream.

This was a great place for a family trip. The price is only $12/person for general admission which is very much worth every penny of it. We went on a HOT 90 degree Day but it was still not as bad in the shade. The tower is beautiful and the melodies are just so relaxing. Try to take a walk... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time @ Bok Tower Gardens! The Tower is breathtakingly beautiful. The bell tower concert was hauntingly lovely. There are a lot of trails and walkways, so wear comfortable shoes. We ate lunch at the Blue Palmetto Cafe there and it was delicious, and reasonably priced. We paid $24.00 park entry fee, but that... I have been going to Bok Tower Gardens for years, & absolutely love it! It is an absolute feast for the eyes, & a peaceful sanctuary for flora, fauna, & people. I don't miss it when I venture to Florida for a visit. If you want to escape the maddening crowds at the theme parks, spend an afternoon or more... More

This is such an uplifting environment to visit. Even better once you have seen the video and know some of its history.

Beautiful garden and the Tower is an amazing architectural example. Would have loved to have had a picnic , but rain later in the day, did not allow. If you are a geocacher, many finds. Definitely worth a visit if you want a relaxed , peaceful day.

I'm sorry to learn of your recent experience at our entrance gate. Please understand that last admission to the Gardens is 5 p.m. daily. That being said, eight hours is a long way to drive without being able to enjoy the Gardens. Please contact me directly at bososky@boktower.org or 863.734.1210 to talk about how we might work together to correct... More
