I took advantage of a BOGO deal and treated myself and daughter for a relaxing tour. Have lived in Florida all my life and never had seen this historic landmark. It was a little difficult to find. My GPS took us to a country club which they obviously have many people do the same as they handed us preprinted directions... More

Edward Bok gave a beautiful 50 arcre garden to the American people in 1929. The Singing Tower is a 205 foor neo-Gothic and art deco structure using pink marble and Florida coquino. It is very impressive and worth a visit, for sure. The growns are very peaceful with lovely views of the surrounding orange groves.

I understand that I am not the only one who is impressed by this place. The gardens themselves look amazinly with the huge selection of the plants and flowers. While there you feel peacfully and very comfortable. We spent the whole day there and would like to go back soon. I would like to point out that along with the... More

The Bok Tower Gardens is a very beautiful place. If you love architectural wonders, hiking, gardens, history and instrumental music, this place is for you. The Bok Tower has a musical instrument called a carillon at the top. The carillon chimes on the hour and there are short performances at 1pm and 3pm. Visitors are not allowed in the tower.... More

We've been visiting Bok Tower Gardens for eleven years now and love it more each time. All our friends are introduced and are amazed that such a beautiful place exists in the area. Every season has something different to offer and the gardens are a constantly changing backdrop to the gorgeous marble Bok Tower. After strolling around the gardens and... More

Bok Gardens are about 1 hour travel time south of Kissimmee. We say this advertised in a Kissimmee brochure. Tickets are $20 a person which included a tour of an adjoining mansion, which is holiday decorated a cup of cocoa and cookie along with self tours of the gardens which cover a good area. You can listen to the main... More

We visited Bok Tower Gardens during a recent trip to Florida. The garden is surrounded by orange trees in the middle of nowhere (about an hour’s drive from the Sea World area of Orlando). The main attraction is Bok Tower, which has a musical instrument called a carillon at the top. The carillon chimes on the hour, and there are... More

We discovered Bok Tower on TripAdvisor. Lake Wales is an hour or so south of Disney World. I love Disney but a few days there can leave you feeling drained. A visit to Bok Tower will leave you feeling refreshed & rejuvenated, especially if you love gardens, architectural wonders, and/or history. Dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge on Feb. 1, 1929,... Bok Tower is one of our favorite places to visit. My friend and I toured Pinewood Mansion.......lovely. The volunteers in each room were informative and knowledgeable. The Christmas decor was breath taking. The carolers outside the mansion, delightful and harmonizing beautifully. I especially enjoyed their perfect for the time period outfits, complete with hats. We dined at Blue Palmetto cafe.... More

We were looking for somewhere to go on a Saturday not too far from Orlando. Bok Tower was the perfect little getaway. Our visit to Bok Tower started with the museum area. If you love history, there's a great story behind this impressive place. Walking the grounds is really enjoyable and a nice little hike too. You'll feel as though... More
