Was here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the video, the house, walking around and the food in the cafe. If you are missing the mountains thus venue has the highest one in Florida (Iron Mountain). Well worth your time and check-out membership opportunities. Another winner here. Enlarge the first picture to see the height!

Bok Tower is by far our favorite in Florida. The carillon tower is beyond words. The artistry is beautiful. My husband and I love walking the grounds to view the flowers, Pinewood Estate and the Tower. It's a fantastic place to visit. We eat lunch @ the Blue Palmetto Café. My husband says their chili is the best and I... More

After driving for miles through orange groves and rather remote countryside, we drove past the modestly marked entrance and had to make a U-turn. Then we followed a narrow winding road through more groves of orange trees. I thought if we're lost, at least we can survive on oranges for a while. Suddenly we came to a large, spacious parking... I grew up not far from Lake Wales and went to Bok Tower on a field trip as a child. Going back as an adult was a completely different experience. I understood the history better and appreciated the serenity and music as well as the beauty of the landscaping. If you go, pay the extra to tour the former home... More

Seemed like forever to get there, but once you are there, it is very relaxing. The bells play regularly, but there are certain times that they play a whole concert. Check ahead. We also took time to visit the historic house, but that was not my favorite part. I had hoped to see the kitchen, but not so. The gift... More

If you like nature this is the place. There is such a variety of flowers and plants. Depending on the season the colors and plants are different. We saw a variety of birds, butterflies and other small "creatures" . There is a gift shop and a picnic area.. Parking is ample. There is an admission fee.

A wonder historic hocation, a great escape to walk in the gardens, sit peacefully and listen to the bells, watch the swans, feed the squirrels.

My first visit to Bok Tower Gardens was as a 5 year old boy in 1960 as I vacationed there with my parents and younger sister. Of course this was before Disney World. The place just fascinated me and became a place that I have visited from Ohio at least three or four times since, the last time being in... More

Visited on 6/20/2015 nice example of Florida's diverse landscape, the cafe staff was not very nice considering we were there in the least busy season and they shouldn't have beeBen stressed, but they sure acted like we were interrupting their day, they are in a service industry after all. The grounds are amazing just lots of construction. Honestly, there's not... More
