Some people seem to confuse this the Disney theme park. It comes under the Nature Conservancy and is near Poinciana, FL about 15 miles south of Kissimmee. About 12000 acres of protected land and you can see a small portion of this peaceful area. Once you enter it there is a one and a half mile drive to the visitor... More

I loved the natural atmosphere and the "village scenes". The rides were fun but I especially enjoyed the safari ride. I give Disney credit for mentioning in their video that species are dying off due to human population explosion.

If you enjoy gatting out and just wandering round taking in the natural sights and sounds - this is as un-disney as it gets! Loved the tranquillity and awesome beauty - lakes, trees, mangrove swamps creatures and critters galore - including fire ants!!!!!!

Come see the peaceful side of central FL! No crowds! Stopped by to check it out so only drove the mile to the Center as it was very hot, the trails don't look to have much tree cover. But did see a family of raccoons cross the road. We plan to come back next trip to FL, early in the... More

The Nature Conservancy is doing a great job in re-creating what in time will be a great attraction for lovers of wildlife and birdlife. Enjoy the walking trails-one just over 2 miles and the shorter only a mile through the grassland and woods but remember that in the wet season these can be boggy. A ovely place for peaceful solitude... More

Where this park doesn't have a ton of rides, it was more like going to your local zoo. The ride through the wilderness by vehicle was great and we saw lots of animals. The bird show was great, it was a great day to relax in between going to the parks in the area.

If you have the time and patience to discover and explore the wonders of nature....check this place out. You'll have to trek through the forest and there's no telling what you might see, but take plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes/sneakers/boots. If you have a compass on your phone it might come in handy as the trails get intertwined and... More
