My family and I spent the day at the county fair in Kissimmee Florida. It is called the Osceola Fair and such a wonderful fair. This year is the 70th anniversary of the fair, This was our first time there and we will return again. Cost is $5,00, seniors and children $3.00 and parking is free. There is an abundance... More

I have been here more than once, It's really interesting for people from parts of the country or world that don't get to see swamps. My friends from Saudi Arabia said it felt like being in a movie. I'm pretty sure it's only open one weekend day per week for the public.

Unfortunately my daughter Ellen got stung by a hairy object which later turned out to be a puss caterpilar, a venomous caterpillar species. The caterpillar has the appearance of a piece of fluffy cotton, but is the opposite.... But still, the center... More

If you are staying in or nearby Kissimmee, love nature and don't want to drive half an hour to get there, look no further. A small museum with local stuffed animals (incl. Bear, panther, bobcat etc) and a very old but interesting movie. In factbthebmuseumis very similar to a small visitor centre at one of the nations National Parks. Enjoyable!... More
