We have visited this museum in 2005 when they were still busy to recover from a hurricane earlier in I think 2004. We've seen the P-51 Precious Metal (PM) flying during the Reno Air Races in 2012. Since that event I follow all info related to PM and the Reno Air Races. Wondering how things were these days we took... More

Did a 45 minute flight with them today. Just after takeoff I was flying the plane. Dennis, my pilot, was excellent at talking me through some easy turns, climbs and descents. He took over the control for some gentle aerobatics and was willing to show me what it would do, but I was having too much fun just flying the... More

Visited the Warbird Air Museum last year, but this March my partner Colin, was determined to actually take a flight. We just turned up, actually on the day that President Obama was coming to Kissimmee, so there were flight restrictions later on. However, we were lucky enough to have John take care of us and sure enough within half an... More

My husband is a WW II aviation buff. For Christmas he wanted a ride on the AT-6 Texan. He got his wish and flew on April 7th for his hour flight. We also included the photos and DVD of his flight in his gift. What a great experience for both of us! I loved taking photos of his coming and... More

My dad was able to fly Harvards (Canadian version of the AT-6 Texan, SNJ) late in WW2 and always felt this was a great airplane. I am not a pilot, but got the chance to feel what it was like to control one of these from the front seat. Dennis, the pilot, was quite patient and accommodating. It was a... More

Yes the flight is short, yes it's expensive, but wow what a feeling. I note the reviews say "chance of a lifetime" which I thought as well, but I'm already figuring on how I can do this again, and stay up a bit longer. I was lucky that I arrived in time to fly with another individual. We took off... More

All the family went to see dad have a flight in the war plane from here. Neil was his pilot and he involved all of us in the experience. Dad's flight was fantastic, he took the controls -an amazing time. There were two flights up and they flew back in formation a fantastic sight from the ground for us. Thank... More

Thank you John for a fantastic experience. Time was short so I could only manage the 15 minute flight but it was brilliant. John was a great instructor and very informative and entertaining. As I said as we were taxying back - awesome is a much over-used word these days but this was a truly awesome experience for me. Thanks... More

Received a 30 minute flight as a birthday gift. After a detailed pre-flight briefing, we were wheel up in a beautiful example of a WW2 trainer. My instructor/pilot let me fly the plane through aerobatic maneuvers with his close guidance. Incredible, Highly recommended experience of a lifetime.

What and awesome day at Warbirds with Neal Sands. Flew a WW2 SNJ (Harvard outside U.S.; also Texan T6) and 45 minutes aerobatics at 6,000' south of Orlando. Awesome! It's been 12 years since I last flew and probably 40+ years since I did any aerobatics. We flew formation with another T6 from takeoff until we reached the restricted area... More
