We visited the Turtle Hospital last week. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the care of the turtles. You can tell the people working here love what they are doing and truly care for the turtles. They had well over 70 turtles they were caring for when we where there. Highly recommend this place for adults and children,

We went there yesterday and enjoyed the visit of this very unique hospital. It is easy to find, and takes around 1h30. You come to visit the turtles that were found usually in a very bad shape in the ocean or at the beach, and they take care of them in order to release them. You can see the turtles... More

Very interesting and informative, doing a great job for the injured turtles. Vital work for their continuing well-being.

We had heard that this is one of the most popular places in the Keys. The sea turtle hospital is pretty much run just like a "person" hospital with ambulance and set up. We spent about 2 hours on tour and learned so much. So heartbreaking to see what we are doing to our environment and how it is impacting... More

We loved seeing the turtles. Call so you don't have to wait and know when the schedule is. The tour is informative and you can see the turtles as they are being rehabbed. We saw a turtle in surgery. My granddaughter who is 3 loved it.

We made reservations ahead of time but they were able to accommodate a change in our time when we knew we would be there earlier. The docents are fantastic. This is a charitable non profit and your entry fee is well worth it.

I´ve visited the Turtle Hospital in May 2015 and it was just GREAT. It was awesome to see that there are Institutions besides Sea World etc. who really take care of the animals and do anything to release them back again. Before you visit the turtles the staff shows a very interesting little movie and tells a lot abut the... More

If you like sea turtles and want to learn more, a great place to stop and take a tour. Be sure to check the tour times online or give them a call. Nice little gift shop as well. Great tour for adults and children. You can also contribute to the hospital by adopting a injured sea turtle and get updates.

We spent about 2 hours at this place, and learned a lot. Our reservation was for 10:00, and when they say to get there 15 minutes early, they mean it. There is a 20 minute narrated slide show that is quite informative. Our guide was friendly and did a good job, but she had a very thick accent that made... More
