Fabulous at sunset for photo op.

Easy travel to go south. Lots of people fishing and walking on the Old bridge still existing right alongside.

It is unique, an experience. Especially the first time. Interesting views, although you can't stop to enjoy them. Alongside is the old 7 mile bridge, part of Henry Flagler's railroad to Key West. You can see many remains of these bridges. If you are not familiar with the story, it's worth reading about. An early engineering triumph.Something to see, but... More

We enjoyed the walk to the island but be sure to go in the morning or late afternoon so that you don't get too hot. Bring water!

Yes -- there is a 7-mile long bridge that takes Highway US 1 from Marathon, Fl farher out on the Keys. It is kind of interesting to drive over, but not a big whoop on its own. However, parallel to the modern bridge is a portion of the old railroad bridge that is maintained as a free public access facility.... More

Nice way to get across the water, if you do not have a boat. There is a two lane highway, with plenty of ocean view...up close!

A long and beautiful bridge with outstanding views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. It is not to be missed.

If you have the time down US1 stop at the beginning of the 7 mile bridge and take a walk down the Old 7 mile bridge. A rich piece of history that allows walkers & bikes.

You can only walk several miles on the bridge but it is worth it. The Ocean on one side and the Bay on the other, wow. Free parking at the bridge.

This is the most wonderful drive and takes in so much of what the Keys is about. Fantastic views all the way. You just want to keep driving forever.

Unbelievable vistas, pristine beach, nature center, concession and bathrooms all in one location. Access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Gorgeous place to visit. Park fee charged upon entry
