When all is said and done this is just a bridge and a very long one. That it is so long is an amazing feat of engineering. But you cannot actually stop along the bridge, or even drive at less than 40mph, so the driver gets a limited view and that's mainly of the sky not the sea. Passenger does... More

My husband and I have always wanted to see this bridge up close and personal after seeing it in movies with helicopter and car chases. It is a historic site definitely worth visiting and driving or walking if you plan to visit the keys. Absolutely breathtaking views of the water and land around it. There are islands toward the middle... More

I should say that I'm reviewing the pedestrian/bike bridge, not the one you drive across. The one you drive across is fine, but what can you say about it, other than it keeps your car from getting wet. The old train/car/now pedestrian bridge is a lovely place to walk, especially near Sunrise or Sunset. I've seen rays (lots of rays)... More

I have been over this bridge probably a thousand times and it never gets old. The very first time I drove over it I think I cried. It is majestic and beautiful. If you are lucky you will catch some creatures getting some air or just flipping around. I love checking out how the small islands are growing in size... More

As soon as we left the Florida mainland and started down the keys, it was such a beautiful sight! The water is turquoise and one can see so much from the Seven Mile Bridge. It is a spectacular view from the bridge spanning across the keys. I suggest that everyone gets to drive the entire length of the keys all... More

The views on this walk are fantastic. The waters are so clear and you can see lots of marine life. It's quite a long walk it took us 40 minutes each way so be prepared.

There is nothing to dislike about 7 mile bridge! The views are amazing! Its the best part of the overseas highway. Surrounded by the gulf and the Atlantic, the old bridge on the gulf side is a photographers dream.

Just south of the bridge there are 2 sites dick stop. On the east side there is a small beach with nice winds sail surfers. There is no bathroom facilities in either one, but it is a nice photo opportunity.

When you drive south in the Florida keys, as you leave the main land after Key Largo, on the left side you have the Atlantic Ocean & on you right side the Golf of Mexico, this experience feels great after you check the location on map; after Marathon Key you will find the 7 Mile bridge on the right side...
