Lots of seaweed and rocks covered beach, so reading that this was the best beach in the Keys left much to be desired. Not all its build up to be.

Nice beach, just watch out what time of year you go. We had a group of Europeans that did not realize you could change on the bathhouses, men and women changing right in front of my kids, I mean all was exposed at one time or another. Other than that a great place.

Beach is really nice but full of coral. Watch out. My son cut his foot on it. There is a lot of seaweed in the area so the water is nice to look at but not all that good to go play in.

A lot of seaweed on the shore, I understand it is a state park so that was acceptable. We got to see some fish and even a small sting ray. there is a shower and parking. not much of a shade on the beach

My wife and I read some reviews rating this beach highly. We were very disappointed. The location is good, the views are good. It's great that there is plenty of convenient parking and covered picnic tables close by. However, the beach itself is pretty narrow and has a pretty good coating of seaweed all over it. Not just any seaweed... More

This was my first trip to The Keys, and I don't think summer is the season to go. Hot. Muggy. And, believe it... It defies the imagination...but you are surrounded by water yet there are so few public beaches that are enjoyable. Again, maybe in the winter it looks a lot better but the day I went to this beach... More

We come here every once and a while to just relax. The beach is beautiful. There is a nice playground for the kids to play. Very nice beach.
