Why is it that you at Starfish remove all reviews which are not 5 stars? This activity seems to diminish objectivity ...

As all entrepreneurs know, TRIPADVISOR is a frustrating media, specifically for that fact that YOU CANNOT DELETE POSITINGS. It is has only been a recent upgrade (probably due to speculative entrepreneurs) that they could even respond to the public. I wish you would have been kind enough to express why you were how would I say "suspect"? More

What a great time we had. First let me say that this is NOT the snorkeling trip right next to Porkys. it is the one closer to the 7 mile bridge. The staff were excellent!!! Very, very nice and friendly. They took us out to the reef and gave us all the equipment we needed. I did not stay in... More

Thanks for your posting, and in particular taking note of our location as all the snorkel companies are right next to each other and this creates confusion. We are at the SEA DOG CHARTERS marina (mile marker 47.5 on the bayside, also next to the 7-Mile Grill Restaurant). You chose a great day for the reef, particularly as a first-timer!... More

My husband and I went on the afternoon trip today. There were some jellies but the wind and current were steady and we dodged them all. A rash shirt is great insurance if you swim during jelly season as we did. The trips out and back were smooth, quick and comfortable. The crew is friendly. Safety is addressed. The boat... More

We appreciate your posting in mentioning the facts of Mother Nature. Not all days are the same. We do have seasons with Jellyfish that many people are unaware of, and yes a rash guard is a great item if you have one, or you can inexpensively rent a wetsuit from us for under $10. Another factor is the current, which... More

Knowledgable crew. They take you to the reef at sombrero lighthouse. The fish were everywhere. The view was amazing.we had to watch out for the jellyfish though. They were thick too. If you are prone to seasickness be sure to come prepared.

The captain watched us and made sure we were safe. We saw beautiful fish all around us. We recommend this trip and we will be back.

We took a trip out with Starfish Snorkeling to Sombrero Reef where we got to see everything from tropical fish, corals alive and well, and even a nursing shark! My son is 6 years old and a fairly confident swimmer. But out in the ocean was a different story. With a handy pool noodle on board my son was happy... More

It was great!!! Beautiful reef with tons of fish!! It was an amazing trip especially considering it was only 25 dollars. They provide gear and take you out to the lighthouse for the reef where it can get as deep as 30 feet! Saw a loggerhead turtle and multiple barracudas as well as the fish. If you own a go... More

We took the Starfish tour to Sombrero Lighthouse Reef and it was beautiful! They seemed to be the cheapest tour in the area at $25 cash. And they provided gear. Drinks and snacks were available on the boat for $1-3. The crew was very friendly and fun. They seemed genuinely concerned for everyone to have a safe and fun time.... More
