Beautiful fish

Loads of beautiful fish from what i could see in the 1-2 minutes of Snorkeling. Winds and waves TOO strong. Excursion never should have been allowed to leave shore

This is by far one of my favorite reefs in the Keys. It's great for snorkeling and diving. There's tons of bright coral and wildlife. My son and I took our first real snorkeling trip on Sombrero reef and when we jumped off the boat there was a 5' barracuda staring back at us. It was totally AWESOME! Crystal clear water and TONS of fish!

If you like busy beaches with lots going on, this is the place. The facility is well planned with handicapped access. Too busy for fishing from the pier, with kayaks, swimmers, and paddleboarders all around. Parking can be a problem during peak hours. I prefer a quieter setting.

Visited the reef on our dinghy. It was a very calm day in the Atlantic. It was our first time. We loved it and will return with our children someday, we hope.
