An excellent company - boat was clean (in fact crew scrubbed it as we returned from our afternoon fishing). Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. No, you don't have to pay for bait. Rod and reel rental is $5.00, if you can't afford that you have no business going out fishing on a boat! The guides/attendants were very helpful and... More

This was my first time fishing off of a boat, and man the Marathon Lady makes it an enjoyable and fruitful voyage! The boat promptly travels out about 30 minutes to the reef, and from the moment you drop a line, be prepared to pull up loads of fish. The deckhands are incredibly helpful and will help you with tack,... More

Let me this is the best crew on a party boat that I have been own. The Captain and crew were very professional. The Captain was quick to move the boat if we were not catching fish. The crew were always there to unhook our fish and untangle our lines. We kept 22 fish and we threw back about a... More

I had a great time on this boat. The crew and captain very helpful and nice. I caught a lot of fish 19 to take home mostly grunts which were small but were very tasty. If you can show up early and get a name tag put it on the rod holder and try and fish off the stern. The... More

My wife and kids had been asking to go fishing, so I figured while on vacation in Marathon, we'd go. I did some research and this boat seems to be everyone's choice. I had contacted them about a week earlier asking about how kids handle the boat when it's windy, they were very honest with me, so I kept an... More

It was a first time experience for me and I loved it, even in the rain. The boat is great and the crew is very, very helpful. Always a smile on their face. I will definitely do it again next visit to the keys!

We stayed on Marathon, so we had no difficulty getting to the boat on time. We took the 4-hour morning trip to fish about 7 miles off the Florida Keys. The boat had a wonderful, helpful staff, they were able to get us to an area where there was really good fishing, and we had a terrific day on the... More

My Dad and I went on a night fishing trip in Aug. If you are coming from above the Keys I suggest you leave earlier because sometimes traffic can get to a dead stop for no reason trying to get down there. I have seen some reviews saying that good spots on the boat were more and you had to... More
