Very nice local beach that doesn't get too crowded

If you are looking a nice, quiet, clean beach that doesn't get too crowded, this is a great beach to consider while in the keys.

Good crowd on Memorial Day Weekend. Not much of a beach here, but there isn't much to choose from in the Keys. This is a so, so beach area.

There are many secluded picnic areas which residents stake out for their entire families. There is no place to spread a towel at low tide. Perhaps it is better at high tide?

This was a nice little stop to break up the drive on the way to Key West. The beach area is pretty, but as other reviewers said, there is not much to do and I would not spend a lot of time here.

Parking can be difficult, and finding a place to sit could be the same. There is a nice Boardwalk and several decent spots. While the beach itself is underwhelming, the water is amazing.

Lots and lots of murky seaweed and trash everywhere. No real place for the kids to wade in the water. Maybe it's different depending on the weather or time of year.

Beautiful beach with covered picnic areas. Shower and toilets in the car park. You can walk out on a sandbar, it was busy when we visited with many people having a swim in the lovely clear water.

Stopped by after reading a review.....the views were great, boardwalk was a nice cool stroll. We thought we'd like the sand bar better - but it was too squishy for us northerners. Just a quick stop for us - but we did see an Osprey overhead that was great and kids would have loved watching the little sand crabs scurrying... More

The problem with Anne's beach is the water is really to shallow to swim. It's a nice place to sit in the sun and read a book. You can walk in the water, but you'll be hard pressed to find a spot deeper than thigh deep. Also you should know that Anne's is a great place to get "no-see-um" bites.... More

We stopped to check out the beach and it looked great but there was no parking available so we thought we would return on another day but again there was no parking. So if you are one of the lucky ones to get a parking place then I'm sure you'll have a good time.
