Very nice local beach that doesn't get too crowded

If you are looking a nice, quiet, clean beach that doesn't get too crowded, this is a great beach to consider while in the keys.

Small beach and very shallow waters. It's not very pleasant walking out in the sea, the sand is very muddy, slimy and your feet sink quite a lot. You can walk out for quite a distance and still be knee height in water. Parking is limited.

My wife and I stopped at Anne's Beach on our way back to Miami and were thoroughly pleased. There is very little parking but it's a fantastic, idyllic white sandy beach with blue water and has a nice wooden walk bridge/path. My wife enjoyed the many birds viewable from the walking path and the beach though small is quite perfect.... More

I was surprised at the effort put into this beach area. There are walking decks with occasional picnic areas stretching thru the trees, down the beach. People get here early to secure a covered picnic site for the family. The water is shallow for a ways, so perfect for kids. Very well done!

Good crowd on Memorial Day Weekend. Not much of a beach here, but there isn't much to choose from in the Keys. This is a so, so beach area.

There are many secluded picnic areas which residents stake out for their entire families. There is no place to spread a towel at low tide. Perhaps it is better at high tide?

This was a nice little stop to break up the drive on the way to Key West. The beach area is pretty, but as other reviewers said, there is not much to do and I would not spend a lot of time here.

Parking can be difficult, and finding a place to sit could be the same. There is a nice Boardwalk and several decent spots. While the beach itself is underwhelming, the water is amazing.

Lots and lots of murky seaweed and trash everywhere. No real place for the kids to wade in the water. Maybe it's different depending on the weather or time of year.
