Loved Anne's Beach for several reasons. There is shade, there are beautiful views. You don't feel like people are right on top of you and overall, just a wonderful spot in the keys. Great for an entire day or just a quick walk. NOTE: it is not a hard bottom beach. VERY MUSHY limestone mud. Some people don't like this,... More

Hey folks, If you are visiting the Florida Keys, there sure are not many things you can find to do that is not expensive. However, there is a beautiful beach at the lower end of Islamorada (on the east side of the highway) known as Anne's Beach, and it really is free. There are two parking lots for the beach... More

There isnt much sand, but the water is wonderful and the board walk is peaceful. This was my mother in laws favorite place before she passed away. We would go here every mothers day. You have to get there early to get a pavillion on the board walk as they fill up quick. We would pack lunch a visit for... More

Most beaches in The Keys are "Man Made". This one doesn't have much sand, but it does have a nice boardwalk, covered picnic areas, good parking.

Traveling N on hwy 1, there's a sign for Anne's beach. We turned in, waited for a place to park (very limited parking) and then walked along the boardwalk to the other end, which has the monument to Anne and is the "official" beach. Very Keys-like vegetation and virtually zero beach. The picnic tables provided along the boardwalk were very... More

At high tide there was very little beach to be found, though there were a number of small sandy areas along the boardwalk. The boardwalk is fantastic and has nooks with picnic tables, steps down onto sand, nice views of the water. We were there just before lunch and it was pretty quiet, but by the time we left just... We went here hoping to spend the afternoon. Beaches were not too crowded but tiny. The water is very shallow and goes on for a long time shallow so there wasn't much swimming. Kids skipped rocks, waded, looked at rocks and tiny shells.

Truly makes you feel like you're on a tropical deserted island. It's a great place to visit, especially if the wind is heavy out the north! The beach is soft and the water shallow and clear. Very pretty stop.

Islamorada is not known for its beaches and frankly you shouldn't go there if you want a beach vacation. Anne's beach did have a small beach area that were nice and maintained. However, the walkway with picnic benches and covered areas was nice for families wanting to stop and look at the water. I wouldn't suggest it as a faction... More

Stopped here while going to Key West. It's very small beach with parking for no more than 15 cars at a time. The beach is small & muddy but has restrooms & shower.
