A beautiful, FREE beach

Facilities include free outdoor showers and bathrooms. A wooden boardwalk with covered picnic tables overlooking the Atlantic Ocean line the shore. The water was very shallow and not very clear, with some debris along the shore. It wasn't the best beach for swimming or playing, but the facilities were ok.

This area looks very pretty and good for taking photgraphs. As far as swimming the bottom is a very squishy, mucky bottom and very very shallow. Not a big area at all. Parking is also very small and limited. This is more for a quick stop to take a break and look around not for swimming.

I am living in the keys for the summer and it's not the easiest to find a decent beach that doesn't cost any money. This is it. Nice water, very shallow for a ways out, and like someone before me mentioned, GREAT area for beginning snorkelers. My 7yo is learning to snorkel and this was the perfect spot! We saw... More

The keys are definitely not known for their long white sandy beaches, the are practically non-existent. But this little gem is the best of the keys. Not too much sand, but great for the family, especially, if you have small children. Very shallow water and the kids will love it. Parking is sparse, so park across the street and walk.

We stopped there out of curiosity and found a great place to have a picnic or stroll out on the sand bar. The water is shallow and you can walk quite a distance before it gets to waist high water. It is a small beach area but it does have washroom facilities and an outdoor shower to rinse off. One... More

We realize the Florida Keys have very few beaches and Anne's beach is one of them. I wouldn't waste your time visiting this beach. The sand is more like mud. The beach is covered with seaweed and there is barley a beach area.

An ok place for beginners to try snorkeling, but not much to see. Can't really swim too much. Not a huge spot. Flats fishing for bone fish/permit probably pretty decent early and late (I only tried 1x before moving on to better spots). FYI they say no fishing now, but if you're quiet, respectful, don't leave trash, and are not... More

Crowded, dirty, slimy entry. NO beaches in Keys... Give it up and accept that you are actually looking for good swimming holes 😉 Great places to swim (no sand) include the area right after the Indian Key Fill bridge on the Atlantic side and the spots along highway 1 where you see cars that have pulled off to the side... Nice little beach area to pull off and explore . The water is pretty shallow here which is nice for the smaller kids. Not a ton of parking so good luck . Perfect for a quick break from the road. Water was clear .
