Small beaches.

The boardwak is pretty, several paths to the small beach areas, watched the kiteboarders, parking is very limited and they like giving tickets!

Bring a picnic and lay on the beach, swim and play with your kids. Get here early if you want a good spot, especially on the weekends. They even have 4 or 5 covered picnic areas you can take over as a base of operations.

We were staying nearby and were looking for a place that our dog could take a swim. Parking is very limited. You might have to wait for a spot. If you walk south along the beach, you can find an area that your dog can romp in the water off leash. If well behaved that is. Please be sure to... More

A low-key beach with about 1/4 mile boardwalk with pavillions overlooking a shallow beach and quiet waters of the Atlantic. Busy on weekends, but often very few people there during the week. One of our favorite places to picnic on a warm afternoon.

The parking was brutal but the walkways were nice. The beach had a lot of people and seaweed. Great place to stretch your legs but not much for anything else.

Not sure what the draw is. It's nice enough and you can't help but drive by it, but I'm not sure it's a destination that you should take extra time for.

This beach is perfect for families with kids. Clean, shallow and all the little coves and picnic spots make this the perfect day trip beach. Get there early! Parking can be a problem, though there is additional parking on the Gulf side about 1/8 of mile south of the main entrance. Spring break is nice for old men with dark... More

Hard to call it a beach, as I know it, but coming from North East during the winter months I'll take it, especially with the lack of public beaches in the keys. There are two parking areas from both ends (one has bathroom facilities) that connected with nice wooden "boardwalk" with a few gazebos in between, so you'll have to... More

Loved Anne's Beach for several reasons. There is shade, there are beautiful views. You don't feel like people are right on top of you and overall, just a wonderful spot in the keys. Great for an entire day or just a quick walk. NOTE: it is not a hard bottom beach. VERY MUSHY limestone mud. Some people don't like this,... More
