This beach was a wonderful place to stop and relax! The sand bar was perfect for sitting and relaxing while enjoying the sun! Also, there are restroom facilities that are kept clean. Perfect spot to spend an afternoon and see some sea creatures!

Was high on things to do in Isla Morada but not impressed at all. Lots of seaweed/algae on shore which in turn breeds tons of flies/gnats! Beautiful sight of horizon but that's about it. Really it's a sand bar with very little to offer except a few hermit crabs to entertain you or the kids.

Not much beach area to sit, high smell of mangroves, liked that it had clear water, but had to go out a distance to really snorkel are around. Nice over hangs with picnic tables.

I think that when we hear "beach", we envision something that looks a bit different. There is a boardwalk that walks you through the mangroves with some picnic tables going off the main stretch of boardwalk. But no, not really a beach, although you can try to find your way by weaving through all the trees and flies to get... More

First off, this is not a beach. It's more like a sewer. When we got there the horrible rotten egg smell hit us in the face. Next you have to walk through seaweed with flies everywhere and you have to walk through it to actually get in the water. When in the water your feet sink into slimely sand to... More

This is a small roadside area to walk out 200 yards on a large shallow sand bar, talk a nature walk, or have a picnic. Snorkeling was basic with a few fish. Good way to spend 2-3 hours swimming in the ocean.

Love the tranquil blue waters. It's very shallow though, but you can put your beach chairs out in the middle of the ocean and enjoy the beach. Very nice area to stop. Parking is rather limited. Oh! There's also a nice little hiking area where you can see wildlife and tons of colorful crabs.

Great place to stop and picnic with the kids, long shallow beach - walk out almost 1/2 mile before it drops to 3-4 feet. Nice shallow snorkeling above sandy ground or seagrass. See crabs, hermit crabs, lush vegetation, clean showers and restrooms. Free. Stay an hour or spend the day. limited parking

This isn't a beach!! It's a place used to run dogs and party. Too much trash and not a nice place. View is nice but that's about it. I wouldn't go in the water either. I love the keys but they are not known or advertised for nice beaches. So don't go there expecting a good beach experience. There are... More

We came across this beach off the highway and what a find! The water was warm and clear. Beautiful shades of green and turquoise. Yes, there is not a lot if shoreline so if you want to build sandcastles you are at the wrong place. But if you want to enjoy a good swim, fish swimming around you and the... More
