We saw a listing for this beach in our Islamorada hotel's area guide so we decided to check it out and we were glad we did. There is a sand bar that goes out into the ocean and just keeps going and going. We went way out there and the water was never above our knees. The water was warm... more
I wouldn't say that this is the BEST beach that I have ever been to, but my kids REALLY loved it. We took a couple of pictures and then went to Founder's park which has a very nice beach, pool, and kid's park. You can rent sail boats and kayaks,... more
