We stopped off due to great recommendations on the forum board. When you get there, there are a bunch of stands with different items for sale, kind of touristy but at the same time kind of nice. Follow the signs to “feed the Tarpon” For a total of about $5 (for 2) you get some bait, hold the bait above... more

On our recent trip to Islamorada 9/18 through 9/20, we went to Robbie's two days. We fed the tarpon both times, and got lots of pics (posted here). That in itself is a fun way to spend some time. The tarpon are really amazing. Also, we enjoy the artiisans and shops (I believe only on weekends) that are set up... more

We have been enjoying the Florida Keys for many years before we discovered Robbie's Marina on our last trip. The experience of feeding the Tarpon is like no other! We enjoyed a 1/2 day offshore fishing trip and loved the boat and crew! Jason was very patient with our children! After the fishing trip, we really enjoyed our meal at... more

We have been going to our time share for the past two years & always go to Robbies for 1) party boat fishing & 2) last year for the sail fishing. What a great time - friendly folks, good equipment & we always catch fish - big or small. The prices are a good value for your money!! more

Robbie's is a one of a kind place. My family travelled from up & down the east coast to meet in Islamorada, Fl for a family reunion and had to stop by Robbie's. Of course we heard about the feeding of the tarpon and had to see this for ourselves. This was an experience in itself and thats only one... more

We stopped in for a quick bite. (Our two criteria for eating in the Keys: 1, it has to be on the water. Check. 2, it has to look like a shack, nothing shiny or new looking. Check.) The burger and the fish sandwich were both great. Cold beer, a water view, what more can you ask for. We didn't... more

We loved everything about Robbie's. The laid-back atmosphere, the friendly, talented artists displaying their works, and the helpful staff. We took a snorkeling trip that was great. They have a dock where dozens of tarpon gather and they sell bait to feed them -- a really fun experience for anyone, especially kids. Make it a point to stop in, if... more

We went out on a offshore trip because they were highly reccomended. The day fishing on the Islamorada Lady Two was a great one. We caught alot of fish and had a good time. I checked around alot of place as to prices and policy before coming down via the internet. The p[rice was fair, and the shared charter arrangement... more

We went to Robbie's just to feed the tarpons based on a recommendation from a coworker in New Jersey. It was well worth it. For $1. per person and $3. for a bucket of fish, you can feed the hungry tarpons that linger by the pier. We had such a good time that we came back again three days later... more
