We have been at Cheeca Lodge several times over the last 6 years. We have 3 young kids that enjoyed a lot the place, including the tennis courts, golf course, swimming pool, and fishing at the pier but we have to recognize that for some reason, the food and quality of service have deteriorated considerably. We switched from the Marriott Key Largo to the Cheeca Lodge after four days at the Marriott and it was the best decision we made. We paid $249 a night for a resort view room, but even the resort view rooms have lovely views as the interior of the resort has beautiful landscaping and water features throughout. Ask for a... more

I called to make an appointment, but the clerk stated the spa services (that you pay for) are for hotel guests only, even though many slots were available and hotel was less than half full. Spend your money at a local spa. more
