My buddy from LA and I dove for four days in a row with Seamonkey's of Islamorada. What a great experience! If you love diving, snorkeling or jet skis - then this is the place. Husband and wife team Bill and Coleen and Captain Jim were absolutely great. Coleen is truly what someone should expect in a dive master. Her... More

I am a registered nurse in pulmonology with 20 years of experience. When I called to reserves divespot for myself, he 1st said sure, call me to confirm, but then said it wasn't available. I then asked if my husband with a broken wrist could come on the boat as a watcher, and my 13 year old son could snorkel.... More

Great small Dive shop. Great for new and newer divers. 6 Pack boat took us out several times with just 2 of us - try to get the big guys to do that! Did 3 2-tank dives and a one tank night dive and saw lots of cool stuff at numerous sites. Turtles. Multiple rays. 3 different kinds of eels.... More

We just finished two days of diving with these folks and could not be happier! I'm a new diver, and my husband has much more diving experience. They were awesome in every step of the way. Colleen was a great divemaster and made sure we had the best dives. Never rushed, never hurried and went out of her way to... More

This place is tucked away behind the Hampton Inn by mile marker #80 - you have to go looking for it but it is worth the search. Colleen and Bill will take care of you and make sure yu have a great experience.

My 15 year-old daughter and I booked a last minutes vacation to the keys for a few days last week. I used my Hampton points and stayed at the hotel on Islamorada. I am not a water guy, but my daughter is, so I booked an afternoon snorkel trip at the Sea Monkeys shop on the hotel property... GREAT choice.... More

My wife and I went out last Thursday (June 23) with Seamonkeys. Convenient location at Hampton and only had one other diver.Sorry for them that it is slow season, but great for us. Dive master led us through a reef with a huge variety of sea life. She did a great job finding hidden eels, nurse sharks, lobsters and much... More

My Family and I vacationed at The Hampton Inn for a few days in April to do a PADI open water certification by referral for my 13 year old son with the folks at Seamonkey. Bill and Colleen were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and their rental equipment appeared new and well maintained. Even though we were anxious to get in the... More

Shallow dives, but plenty of marine life: lobsters galore, ray, eels, barracudas, sharks, and plenty of colorful fish. Bill & Colleen made it so easy to get back in the water: I even forgot my c-card (1st time in 47-years of having same; e-mailed once I got back home), but they got with PADI that morning and researched my certs.... We went specifically to Islamorada to go snorkeling at the end of our Florida trip. We chose Seamonkeys because they have a small boat (6 pax max) which means you get the right level of attention, and you don't have to snorkel amongst 30 other people. After having the trip cancelled twice because of bad weather, we finally set off... More
