We have fished with Capt. Brian Cone on Contagious out of Robbie's in Islamorada, FL for last 10+ years and keep coming back for more as he fills the boat every trip with fish! Any Capt. can have a good day once in a while, but what makes Capt. Brian a Top 1% Capt. is he boats serious numbers of... More

Seventy-two hours or so have passed since experiencing something I never expected to do -- chase big fish on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic with a real expert, Captain Mike Walter. This late 20's dude, and I mean that most admirably, took myself and two buddies out who were part of a group of 13... More

I along with 4 others, joined Captain Brian Cone on his 33 foot Contagious. It's a large Catamaran that makes boating pretty smooth even in rough waters (that doesn't mean he guarantees no sea sickness...me). We started the day out around 30 miles out in 600 feet of water and while the fishing conditions were not perfect that day, we... More

My husband, son and I recently were vacationing in the Key Largo Florida. Everything about our trip was great. However, the absolutely highlight of the trip was spending the afternoon on a private charter boat with "Captain Matt" from Islamorada, FL. The only ways to decribe him is incredibly fun and funny, extremely knowledgable about fishing and boating and just... More

I went alone for a half day with Captain Rick and mate Jeremy. They are greta guys and Rick knows better than any other captain exactly where the fish are. The other boats out that mornig got almost nothing. We began with tuna then moved to a certain spot for amberjack. Hooked one then a shark took it as I... More

Fishing at its best. Our captain was not only knowledgeable and a master of his skill, but was able to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We fished 3 different techniques. The boat was both comfortable and just what you needed to get to the right spots. We caught our limit and had fresh fish for dinner. Jeff was very helpful... More

I have been coming to Islamorada for 4 years now. Always in December due to my schedule. I have found the fishing bridge to be good or better than some charters (shallow water). the fish are off shore this time of year. But one can always catch a few from the bridges. No Florida liscence needed from shore. Use frozen... More

One has to be careful when leaving reviews to try and take into account the whole package, Islamorada is without doubt a great place to fish so when arriving we booked a day on the group charter from Bud n Mary's. I have fished now for over 40 years and fully knew what to expect. The people at Bud n... More

The day was absolutely gorgeous to spend on the water. Ocean was very smooth, and the temperature was perfect, BUT it didn't seem like anybody was catching anything. The two main fish in season, were not biting...we managed to only catch a couple tuna before Travis decided it was time to catch some bigger fish, which we did! The day... More

I have been out with Captain Rick 4 times in the last 2 - 3 yrs and he always catches fish. Won't dissapoint. Twice, we've caught the most fish at the docks and the people gather round asking how far we went out to catch them. Captain rick will drive to the ends of the earth to catch fish.
