What an excellent find in Islamorada! I felt it was a little pricey to get in, $8 per person; however, it is an all day pass. You can come and go as you like. Once we spent the day there, it was well worth the money! There is an excellent beach for young kids and adults to wade, swim or... More

Very well kept park with walking trails, swimming pool, and a little beach The keys are not known for their beaches so any beach is a treat

Didn't love the beach or the feel of the place. It was mediocre compared to other spots and the water was not clear.

Great visitors center at the entrance with lots of literature and bathrooms. Entry fee is $8 per adult. We found a picnic table on the sand within view of the small Crescent beach. Water on the bay side is flat and shallow. I would wear wading shoes since there was a lot of sea grass in March... Don't know if... More

As i said in my title, founders has a great, deep water lap pool. The pool is never filled with people and you can almost always get your own lane to swim in if you are looking to get a workout in. For anyone looking to do serious swim training this is one of the best if not the best... More

Beach areas are few and far between in the keys. Founder's has one. It also has a doggy park, two-sided for large and small dogs. A large marina is on site for boaters. An onsite band shell is used regularly for local concerts including the municipal band. The park is a great place to lay out or swim. locals hang... More

I used their Olympic size pool every morning for lap swimming and loved every minute of my swim! The pool was clean as was the surrounding deck. (I didn't use the rest of the park but I noticed there were tennis courts and a ball field and a small beach area.)

This was a great day with the kids and we had a picnic lunch and took our own bait and fishing equipment! Fun and inexpensive for the whole family!
