This is your typical tourist stop. Many of the items are not made in the keys and most are something you buy while visiting and later don think about them. Last time I visited the store in the very back of the shops had beautiful tropical furnishings but pricy. What is very good is that you have many different stores... More

We were really disappointed with The Rain Barrel - we thought there would be local art there, but it was mostly commercial tat. The best things is the giant lobster outside!

The village cannot be missed due to the large lobster outside. It is a small, neat village consisting of several artists selling a variety of handmade arts and crafts. Besides that they of course also sell the 'standard' tourist items that you will find in most stores. The village itself it not very large so don't expect this to be... More

I enjoyed visiting the rain barrel. There were a lot of your random kitschy items but (as a local) I did find some things I haven't seen produced by local artists. They were dog friendly, provided access to espresso, and intrigued me for a good hour... I bought a couple things and enjoyed a nice shaded experience... And the local... More

this place used to be a great spot to find local artwork. Now it's a tourist trap…..although there are a few stragglers left that actually have some great art.

This place blew my mind. I have stopped in many many roadside shops. This was a little village with different shops within. You never knew what was next. First it was a jewelry cottage that was incredible. Thousands of unique pieces that were reasonable. Then art galleries that were amazing to my favorite, the fragrance bar where you customize your...
