Small group of artists shops, worth stopping to check it out.

Curious collection of shops offering a range of quirky artefacts and hand made items and that. Quite an enjoyable way to spend half an hour though and surprising what you can find.

What draws you in is the enormous lobster sculpture in the parking lot. It's advertised as an 'artisan village', but it's my guess that many of the 'artisans' reside in China, or Malaysia, or anywhere else that cheap tourist trap items are made. There are a few booths and workshops that house jewelry makers and painters, but they almost seem... More

Nice place to stop and take a break. Restroom, food and gifts for the tourist. Some are a bit pricey, but you can find some deals too. The giant lobster outside is a definite draw into this place. Enjoy

From the outside looks like one store, but when you step in there are numerous shops to wander through including a few with food. Very neat, a larger variety of items to browse.

An amateur artist/crafty lady, I was drawn in by the Large lobster, and the lure of browsing thru handcrafted items. The artist village is a "mixed blessing"; and a touristy must do for bad weather days. Try to ignore the large, tourist trap boutiques as you enter the village. Most of what you see can be bought at your local... More

Considering this is a very touristy kind of place, this is not so bad. I found some very attractive handmade hair ornaments,in an incredibly packed to the gills.t"tchotchke" store. Other shops had some nice things to buy f you weeded through carefully.

It's a pretty cool place to kill 45 minutes It's like ride by and say we have to go in there Well ok you did ONCE. Marc... More
