Went out on New Years day with Captain Kevin and his mate Michael for 3/4 day of fishing. When I made arrangements for the charter with Capt. Kevin I told him that we were bringing my two girls 11 and 8 years old and that we were interested in fishing that would keep them happy. Boy did he accomplish this!... More

We went on a three quarter day (6 hour) fishing trip with Capt. Kevin and First mate Micheal for Sailfish. We got skunked but did catch some Mackeral and Snapper and a small shark. We spent about an hour catching bait before going out (which we were not told about before leaving). The first mate Micheal made the trip a... More

After fishing 6 hours with another guide in the am (they said no Tarpon are around) so we caught 5 small fish, we were bummed. Micheal confidently said we WILL catch you tarpon in the 3 hour pm trip. Reluctantly we booked it and it was AWESOME! We fished for 3 hours with Captain Scott (a World renowned capt/guide) We... More

My children and I had never before been offshore fishing until we chartered with Gold Reserve, so you can understand our apprehension. To say the least, we were not disappointed. Captain Kevin and first mate Mike introduced themselves before boarding and I reiterated what we wanted to fish per our phone conversation in March. He explained we will be going... More

Had a great time with friends fishing for tuna and Mahi. We all caught fish including two dolphin over 25 pounds. The captain and mate gave great tips and cleaned the fish for us upon docking. Would definitely return.

I had a great time fishing in the backwater. It was something I have always wanted to do and am so glad that the owner of the resort where I was staying recommended Gold Reserve. Caught lots of fish and everything was first rate!
