After doing a lot of research on places to go kayaking. We chose the kayak shack at Robbie's. The staff was helpful and easy going. The area is absolutely beautiful. Great for experienced and novice paddlers. We will be going back soon.

We rented kayaks and a guide here. The kayaks were in wonderful shape, and the guide was very knowledgable. We were out for about 2 hours. The mangroves were amazing. We went through 'tunnels' of mangroves. The guide was able to point out many critters and birds, including two crocodilles!

You won't find a more helpful, enthusiastic outfit than the Kayak Shack. Their equipment was in great shape and Paul was a wealth of information. They have all the supplies you need, from life vests to coolers, and happily provide you with the best sights for your family. Make sure you kayak out to Indian Key, tour the ruins, and... More

As a visitor from Mi, I went with my nephew and my brother, residents of St. Pete. They had a high recommendation of The Kayak Shack from friends and locals. The Kayak Shack lived up to the billing. Super friendly, helpful staff. Great kayaks and equipment. Had never kayaked before, and was very comfortable doing it, thanks to John's pre-trip... More

Kayaking through the mangrove tunnels right near Robbie's was one of the highlights of our trip. Spectacular scenery. But don't forget the bug spray!

We found this place while searching for something to do on vacation. We're from Mic higan. This was an amazing place to go to. Great staff, nice little souvenir shopping and the Kayak Shop was top notch. You kayak into beautiful shallow pools on your way to the Indian key which is good snorkeling and pier diving. If you want... More

Randomly came across this place while driving to Key West. Neither my husband nor I had ever paddle boarded but I've always wanted to try. It was super easy and the staff was amazing and friendly. They went above and beyond by giving us the really nice boards (perhaps their own?) because they had rented all others out. I could... More

We had an amazing time kayaking here. During our trip we saw a baby shark, jellyfish, and two saltwater crocodiles. Not to mention the awesome tunnel through the mangroves. This was a great place to go with great service.

It's a great setup for kayaking. There is a large lagoon type area with shallow, clear water. They are locatead next to a large mangrove area with narrow tunnels. You can also go across some open water to Indian Key, which is a neat historical area. Their staff is also great.
