We rented Kayaks from Kayak Shack to paddle over to Indian Key. The staff was very helpful, and with thunderstorms in the vicinity, was watching the weather carefully to make sure conditions were safe for us to go out. They gave us good information about Indian Key and provided maps to help us explore this small, historic island. The paddle... More

So if you like to mix it up with nature, you will enjoy this excursion. This is our second Keys vacation to rent kayaks from the Kayak Shack. We love it! We rented their Hobie kayaks with the pedal drive and followed the mangrove trails first. It is scenery you absolutely cannot experience any other way. We saw one of... More

First I must say the staff here are very friendly and helpful. There is no pressure to do anything until you decide what it is you want to do. We opted for the half day kayak hire at $55 for a double. ($40 single) and this proved great value as we were out for at least 3 1/2 hours. The... More

Located next to Robbie's. A big shout out to Vince, Troy and Jeff who were so helpful, friendly and patient with all our questions. We chose a 2 hour Jet ski tour that included a 1/2 day of paddle boarding and/or kayaking. My kids felt that being on the Jet ski tour was better than not being sure where you... More

The Kayak Shack is contracted and located at Robbie's of Islamorada. I noticed a few of the reviews were bad mouthing Robbie's, but it was listed under the Kayak Shack....please understand they might be next to each other...feet away but the customer service is night and day. We rent kayak for the day and had a wonderful time, the guides... More

Robbies Marina is an authentic Keys experience and the staff at the Kayak Shack were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Not only did they explain everything thoroughly, but they provided maps of the mangrove channels that we would be traveling through. Everyone we dealt with was great, especially Vince and Troy. They even helped my wife who had broken her wrist,... More

After reserving 2 jet skis - one for myself and my daughter and the other for my husband and my son, we set out on a 2 hour Eco/snorkeling jet ski tour....oh and $430 later. Our tour guide was very knowledgable on boater safety & the surrounding waterways; his name is, Stevie B. Our experience was good, but it could've... More

We had a great time hiring kyaks for 1/2 a day and went exploring around the mangrove forests immediately surrounding Robbies Wharf. We saw lots of baby sharks which were actually swimming up to check us out in kyaks - unfortunately no manatee sightings which is what we were really hoping for. Staff were friendly and relaxed about when we... More

Pleasant & relaxing trip through mangroves. Some tricky parts to dodge branches and did not see much wildlife beyond crabs and jellyfish but overall a nice day out on water.
