My partner and I wanted to get a little adventurous so we drove to Islamorada and found a cool little spot. In there was the kayak shack and the guys working there were very helpful as to where to kayak too. They gave us a map. I get bored easily and we did the whole mapped route which was 2.5... More

I'm on vacation with my 70-something parents and wanted to do a paddle board/kayak tour. It has been so windy, our only option was in the mangroves. The guys at the Kayak Shack were so wonderful. They were patient and friendly. They gave us free life preservers for our paddle boards. The trail was beautiful and tranquil. We saw four... More

To the guy who was working at the shack on 10/6 at around Noon... Thank you! While we didn't use the kayak shack kayaks this time or their launch, he was still so very helpful. We had our own kayaks and were launching up the road but really appreciated that he helped us out with the info on the tides... More

We had a great time we explored Indian key and then the mangroves on a double. my husband brought his gear and snorkeled at Indian key. The map for us was a little hard to use not at Indian key but in the mangroves everything looks the same and we quickly lost our way but the fact that we weren't... More

My boyfriend and I rented paddle boards and had a great time! The channels and tunnels are beautiful and quiet. We didn't see any manatees, but most other people did. The employees were very friendly and laid-back. A fun and affordable outing!

We (family of 4 with 2 teens) rented two double kayaks to do the mangroves and Indian Key. The guys were great letting us know info but we still managed to paddle into a trail that got smaller and smaller (think Indiana Jones needing a machete to clear the path). My 16 yr old son thought it was the best... More

We rented Kayaks from Paul at the Kayak Shack at Robbie's Marina and had a fabulous day. Paul and the other young man ( sorry I didn't get his name) were very helpful in getting us situated and giving directions on how to paddle out to Indian Key. My husband and I were in a double kayak and our 17... More

Paul and Kylie are great! Super nice, great kayaks, and easy paddling on both the gulf and ocean sides. The sunset kayak on the gulf side is highly recommended!

We read all the great reviews they had and decided to check it out for ourselves. We went out to little Indian key first which was a difficult paddle for me but no problem for my boyfriend. We snorkeled from there and saw a ton of fish and lobsters. Then we went back and through the mangroves. We got within... More

We went to Islamodora after reading the reviews about the Kayak Shack. The staff was friendly and helpful, the kayaks were in good shape and the cost was reasonable. We kayaked over to another island, walked around for a bit, then came back to go through the mangroves. It was a wonderful four hours.
