Went and rented a single kayak, they give you 4 hours if you chose the half day option which i recommend. You can paddle out to the Indian key state park which is this really cool island that used to be inhabited in the mid 1800's. You can also paddle through the mangroves which i found to be rather eerie.... More

My mother and I visited Lignumvitae Key for the first time this weekend! We met Jason from the Kayak Shack early Saturday morning - he was super nice and very professional. Jason showed us the best route and assured us the weather would be great for our adventure. It didn't take long at all to get to the island where... More

The keys scream diversity of environment, from mangroves to open water, and the Kayak Shack allows you to enjoy both with their killer location. Visit Vince, and he'll hook you up with an adventure that fits the day, be it windy wavy or calm. We cruised out to Indian Key, explored the island, snorkeled, and then hit the mangroves bayside... We experienced the bay from jet skis , a first for us but quick learners. Stevie balanced the speed with some amazing snorkelling amongst the mangroves to see the many baby fish. Stevie shared many interesting facts with us and took some great photos of us too with our camera, all part of the service. For those that want more... More

Very reasonable prices with several options. We explored the mangroves and there were several little coves to go kayaking exploring. Depending on how long you stay out there are other options. Beautiful exploring!

Find wooden bench get in water and go to your right, stay close to shore and explore small crags to find many colorfull fish, sea urchins large conchs etc. Also did... More

Great time at Kayak Shack. Great price. Vince and the guys helpful and is a very laid back environment. Saw manatees, sharks, reef fish, and other interesting critters. Lots of large tarpon at dock. Professional courteous crew. Thanks guys for a great start to our trip. Highly recommend

My wife and I stopped in a Robbie's and decided to go on a Kayak guided tour. It was the best decision we made all week long. Our guide Paul was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous we saw a small shark, numerous birds, small crocodile, and porpoises. We will defiantly return next year for another tour.

We started our paddle boarding adventure with Vince. Vince was very informative about how to use our boards, where we should go, and how to make sure we had a good time and stayed safe. He recommended that we do the 4 hour rental so we would not feel rushed, which was a great idea because we ran into so... More

We rented two 2-person kayaks and spent about 3-4 hrs exploring the mangroves. We saw sharks, manatees, a crocodile, Seahawks, jelly fish and countless fish. Vince helped us with our kayaks and was extremely helpful and friendly. We will absolutely return and we recommend this place highly.
