This is actually a lovely little beach with very little activity. If you just want to wade or swim, it's perfect. I did a drift snorkel here and there are fish to be seen, but beware there are a couple spots with a current and boats nearby. There's a sandy beach with a gradual decline and did see children playing... More

There's not much to it. There's a little park and a small beach overlooking a creek. There's a small playground and public restrooms. It's a quite place though so that's nice.

I found this beach by accident and was pleasantly surprised. the area was protected by mangroves and had a small swimming area. Water was crystal clear. I was able to put my paddle board in at the beach and paddle into the bay.

Right behind the library in Islamorada is a little beach with easy bay access for your kayak, canoe, or paddle board. It is very easy o park there and you can swim and cool off in beautiful water. The weirdest thing about it is it is in the library's back yard. FREE! They even have grills there for public use.

This beach is a hidden gem. We were impressed by how clean the park and beach were. Very quiet and peaceful, has facilities. Would have loved to kayak or SUP. Maybe next visit.

This place is a hidden gem. Behind the library is a small park with a great secluded beach and lagoon area for swimming all for free!.

We were advised to snorkel here by a local and we weren't disappointed having seen a nurse shark. It is tucked away so not easy to find. Was very quiet, in fact we were the only people there for most of the time

It's behind a library, hence the name. A small park on a small lagoon with access to the huge bay. We kayaked over to Lorelei's for midafternoon drinks. In the lagoon, we saw sooo many fish, we saw a baby shark and a big ray. Right before we got there, a dockhand said we just missed the biggest manatee he's... More

Very few people except for locals. Beware of the current and boaters - but at slack tide, you can see some interesting critters close up.

funny lil channel behind the library north of the highway in Islamorada. There's not any kind of "beach" there and there are boats coming through, but I can see how you would swim there...we just waded, but saw lots of cool fish, etc. If you were staying within walking distance, this would be a gem, but not exactly a destination.
