If you're visiting the Keys, this is nice place to spend an afternoon. They have a variety of different tours that you can sign up for as well as some shows. We will have to go again and try other tours in the future. We did the dolphin encounter and it was quite the experience. You, along with a group... More

Close and personal, mom and pop place with dolphin shows and a lot more. It's not SeaWorld, thank God, which means little to no lines and less than $80 to get in the door.

My family of 4 (2 kids ages 7 months and 4) spent several hours here at the end of June while vacationing in the Keys. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. The shows were informative, entertaining, and short enough to keep my oldest son's attention. I did the Sting Ray interaction which was so much fun. I... More

I was actually extremely surprised by how much I and my family (sister 20, brother 16, I'm the oldest), my boy friend and I enjoyed. The gardens within are amazing. So beautiful to walk around. The animal shows were cute, keep in mind family owned. I think they did well. I really suggest doing the snorkeling adventure, especially if you... More

This is a great place to spend 1/2 day with the family. We got there right at 9:30 a.m. and breezed from one show to the next. They have them timed so they are consecutive and walking wise close together. Although a relatively small park, it is beautifully upkept. My teen and tween did the sea lion interaction, and it... Traveled to islamorada for my 21st birthday, wanted to do something interesting and decided to pay for someone to take us out snorkeling. Us having no experience snorkeling before, our captain Darlene was amazing! Darlene was so sweet and helpful and even gave us tips on what pictures would be the most memorable. So glad we were able to share... More

I've done a few dolphin encounters but this was definitely the best and the most personal. We got to pet the dolphins and perform basic training maneuvers. A dolphin gave my friend a mangrove branch. The best part of the experience was when two dolphins pulled me through the water. A truly amazing experience.

As a former mammal trainer of the Miami Seaquarium I am highly critical of other marine mammal facilities and their trainers. I found theater of the sea very entertaining and you can spend all day there. They have two sets of shows and a beach. Well worth the stop and I am remember some of the shows from when I... More

My family and I decided to come to Theater of the Seas in Islamorada while we were in the Florida keys so that we could swim with dolphins. After doing a lot of research, we choose this location simply because it offered the longest time swimming with dolphins for a reasonable price. What I didn't realize was how awesome the... More
