Beautiful, inspiring, quiet place to relax and pray. A lot of history dating back to Spanish-American War. Some of it even relates one of the units I served in while in the Army.

My kids will always remember the year we spent Easter in Key West and celebrated mass outside in a beautiful garden. The priest was well aware of the huge number of guests visiting and made us all feel welcome. I sat in an aluminum chair, leaning back watching the sunlight stream through the palm fronds above my head, looking at... More

Their Lenten fish frys are very good and friendly mahi mahi at $12 a person this past lent. Unfortunately the "outdoors in" means that even at the early Sunday masses it is too hot for the out of town visitors not used to heat/humidity with no AC.

Celebration of the Divine Mercy Sunday today and it was a packed house. Great energy and beautiful message today. Father Baker was a great presence and a compassionate spirit. A congregation member turned 93 today and we sang happy birthday to her. It was lovely. He spoke of her illness not so long ago and have examples of how prayers... More

We arrived 15 minutes before 10 am Easter Mass. At first, we were disappointed to be funneled into the overflow area. It turned out to be a beautiful mass in the garden of the basilica. The congregation is very welcoming. It was a memorable Easter for our family!

Was surprised and delighted to discover Easter Sunday mass was celebrated outside in a lovely shaded garden. We felt welcomed. Wish we could have found bike racks, the policewoman directing traffic didn't know where any were, but sternly warned us not to lock the bikes on the fence. We ended up locking them to some picnic tables. We didn't go... More

Worth a stop to look and admire this church is really beautiful and peaceful. My family attended Palm Sunday Mass here and it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this church to other visiting Catholics in the Keys.

This grotto stands to protect Key West from the full force of Hurricane and so far, it's done it's job! I'm not Catholic, but it's a beautiful place to come and think and share with family and friends.

Mass was beautiful at this parish! Very friendly people and a lot of visitors. The church grounds hold history which is always fun to learn about.

beautiful children's choir, love the open air with all the doors open, people gather before mass very loudly making it difficult to pray and prepare for mass
