My wife and I were very happy to visit such a picturesque church with such well-maintained grounds on Key West. The doors all along both sides of the church are kept open allowing the breeze to flow through making your visit as peaceful as can be.

While we were Key West, we stopped in St Mary Star of the Sea. It's a lot of history and was near Ernest Hemingway House and the Lighthouse. Definitely worth the stop.

This church was so beautiful. It gets very crowded so don't show up right at Mass time and expect to get a seat. They have doors that run down each side of the church and they were all open during Mass. Felt like we were outdoors. It was wonderful!

This church is magnificent! It is truly breathtaking! From the grotto to the church proper, as well as the gift shop out back, the entire experience is wonderful! The church's window/doors open and the breeze coming through makes it even more spectacular! A beautiful Catholic Church! I would love to attend Mass here! I was disappointed the church was closed... This is my church. I really don't consider it a tourist spot and don't think it should be rated as such

built in 1904, the church is only a ten minute walk from from Duval. It has an unusual design, with doors in place of the usual windows. The building is bright and full of light.

Get there early for the Saturday evening service. It fills up. Really friendly community. Good music, good homily, and beautiful grounds. The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours.

What a lovely place. Beautifully restored and tranquil. We really enjoyed the stations of the cross.

We walked to the church from Crowne Plaza La Concha hotel on Duval Street for mass on New Year's Eve - took us about 20 minutes but it was a beautiful night. Being from the north, it was so nice to visit this church where every door was open to the outside (see photo). The priest who officiated the mass... More
