Our diving experience wasn't that spectacular. A rough day forced us to dive in the gulf (15-20ft depth) one morning. The next day we had to tag along with others also taking various course certifications, so we didn't get much time to explore. Overall the diving was a very close ride from the marina, and the staff was helpful. Hopefully... more

Basically a pack'em and rack'em dive boat, with 20+ divers on board. Some may even be so green that they're doing their basic certification dives (like on my trip). Frustrating for the experienced diver. Equipment setup onboard is difficult at best, with all of the tanks in the center of the deck. The tanks are held in place such that... more

This was the worst diving experience ever. We are somewhat experienced divers (over 70 and 90 dives), having dived in the Red Sea, Indonesia, Curacao, Bonaire and the Netherlands, so we can compare it with other diving experiences and the way other diving companies work. Let us start with inquiring about our diving experience by the diving company when register... more

Not sure why some had a hard time as I looked at the reviews, but we are seasoned diveres and if you need a lot of help you need to get a divemaster or someone to take you out probably. This dive was a simple dive with 2 less than 40 foot depths. Everyone on the boat was helpful and... more

We were all excited to go diving at Key West! But our experience there, unfortunately it was not the best, actually it was really bad! The service was bad. We were asked if we needed equipments by two crew members and we told them multiple times what we already have and what we needed. We sat there confused and watching... more

I have gone scuba diving many times before even without being certified. I was reluctant to learn from just any other instructors. My dad had been a divemaster & instructor for many years, but he passed away before I could go back to Southeast Asia and get certified by him. Albeit, I was very lucky to come across Captain's Corner... more

Every few months I return to Key West to dive with Captain's Corner. Leslie offers accomodations to her visiting divers right at the Dive School and I love staying at her hidden villa just a few blocks from the dock. Yesterday, I returned from a full week's stay where I dove 5 of the 7 days. Captain's Corner is the... more

We were referred to this operation through another outfit that we were doing a sunset cruise with. When we called several weeks in advance, they were somewhat disorganized (to our benefit, as we discovered later). They barely took the time to schedule us for a series of three dives, and only by reminding them did they even take our name... more

I traveled to Key West with my brother to finish my PADI certification (confined and open water dives). We are so happy with our experience there- felt the training was very thorough and prepared us to dive on our own. We were able to see some great reefs and even a wreck- totally amazing! The staff was great- the instructors,... more

If you are looking for frills, this is not the operator your want. My husband and I did a "resort" course with Adrian, our course instructor. I am NAUI certified, but it has been 15 years since I hit the water. This was my husband's first time, and he did well. Adrian did the basics in the pool (2 hours)... more
