This was a great sunset cruise. Lasted 2 hours. Not very crowded. They offer water and cracker and fruit. The crew was very smart and very funny. Great views of the sunset and of the island of Key West. I would do this again. It was very calm and peaceful...except when we shot our cannon at passing ships. Give you... More

I have taken several sunset cruises in Key West and the Jollly Rover is definitely the best value. Jolly Rover does not provide drinks or food (they do offer a vegetable tray at no charge) but you can bring your own drinks and they provide ice/storage and friendly service. The drinks and food on other sunset cruises is not worth... More

The sunset cruise on the Jolly Rover II was a good time. Coolers are available to bring your own wine or beer and keep it chilled. Water and soft drinks are provided. Simple appetizers are also provided. The crew is excellent. They make sure everyone is having a good time and are comfortable. We saw dolphins in the distance, which... More

We booked the Jolly Rover the morning of the trip, early May, and were able to get seats. The boat was about half full. There are two things you should know: 1) this is not a party boat. They do not serve alcohol (though you are welcome to bring your own on board), they don't play loud rock or calypso... More

Sunset cruise on a working sailboat decked out as a pirate ship Crew was great and very entertaining - provided great recommendations for the area Cannons on board that were shot off were lots of fun Water provided and a cooler on board to bring your own beer and wine rather than pay premium key west drinks prices was great

I really enjoyed my time aboard, the crew was very friendly and entertaining. It had been a long time since the last time I had been on a sail boat, it really reinvigorated my passion for time on the water. It was fun exchanging volleys of cannon fire with the other schooner, it's loud so take the Capt's advise and... More

My GF and I researched the sunset cruises at some length. We are glad we went with the Jolly Rover. Crew are fantastic. Agreeable and willing to let the passengers help out with the running of the ship. Rule of thumb, if it's a catamaran, your ears will bleed due the crazy loud party music, if it's the jolly Rover... Booked in the afternoon to do the sunset tour. Arrived at designated time and welcomed on board by Rio and his crew. We had great weather and a stunning sunset also managed to scare a few boats away with the canon! Great way to spend two hours taking in't in the water and sunset. Highly recommend Thanks Rio & Co... Liked it so much that we had to go again! It took a minute or two of searching to find the ship, but that's why you show up early, right? They allow you to bring your own drinks and provide you with a water and light snacks. The first time, we took the day cruise in order to see the... More

My boyfriend and I decided to go on a day sail. We were given a coupon after going on a pirate pub crawl. It cost about $45 per person but we got $5 off. The staff seemed really knowledgeable and very friendly. They told us a lot of history and details about the island and sailing. I was a little... More
