Stopped in and paid the $10 per human and signed the guest book. Enjoyed the beautiful plants and gardens very much. Have been to Fairchild in Coral Gables which is huge. But this is all in one acre packed full of lush foilage. Also enjoyed the parrots which talk to you. Very entertaining. My personal favorite. Would go back again. more

Finding this secret garden takes a little effort but it is worth it We visited after breakfast one morning. While we were there the birds were having their breakfast. I was a little hesitant to go in, especially when you walk up and see that it is a $10 charge ( honor system) and a small man, burnt to a crisp, with a marlboro hanging out of his mouth greeting you. Maybe in its day it was a tropical pleasure, but we found it tattered and non-descript of any real value. Not worth the difficulty in finding the well hidden entrance. And a $10 per person suggested donation. PLEASE! Find a better alternative. more

Wonderful escape, these gardens are just beautiful. It is a wonderful place to see lush trees and incredible flowers. We actually went to a wedding in this garden and it was a beautiful, serene backdrop. Also great for birdwatching and photography. "$6 Per Human" is what the sign stated. That includes kids under 2 years old. Ok, so we paid it, the garden is nice, but don't ask the staff a question. Every person we spoke to or came across (including Nancy) were rude and very unpleasant. I would suggest the Martello Tower or the Tropical Gardens. more
