Don't miss this spot - it is 1 of the best places to visit in Key West. Use the $2 off coupon in the info booklets for the city. If you visit on a sunny morning you will see hundreds of flitting butterflies as they are more active then. Also look for the pair of flamingos, various birds & turtles.... More

This was not a disappointment, the butterflies were beautiful, there were also little tiny doves running around, we were told they eat the insects.

Didn't want to leave. It was an uplifting experience seeing hundreds of beautiful butterflies fluttering about and even landing on your shoulder as if to share a peaceful moment. Info film was interesting as was seeing the lab where butterflies from around the world were in their various stages of life. A must see and just down the street from... More

I don't usually like to visit museums, etc. when on vacation, but this conservatory was well worth it. It was just so amazing to see all the butterflies flying all around, along with all the other creatures that were there. Would definitely recommend.

They had me at butterflies, but also had small birds and a pair of pink flamingos. The garden and water features were delightful. I didn't realize there were so many beautiful varieties of butterflies. The attendant also gave us some background on the conservatory and answered our questions. Very peaceful and serene. We didn't want to leave.

This is a lovely way to spend a few hours relaxing with many butterflies and two flamingos and turtles. Even children would enjoy this stop. Reduced senior and kids prices $9 each, coupons are in every tourist book. Great info on the butterflies in a display area and large shopping area. Staff is very attentive to any questions. Nice area... More
