This is a small intimate theater that is tucked in behind the Hard Rock Cafe on Duval Street. We saw Outside Mullingar which was an off-beat production. There are no bad seats in the theater as it is so small. I've read other reviews on here that were critical of the production so I would suggest that you make sure... More

Nestled in an old carriage house behind the Women's Building on Duval Street, the Red Barn Theater is a wonderful gem of local, but very professional, theater. A recent production, "Let's Get Lost," was a very enjoyable musical revue encouraging us to "get lost" in the music along with the very skilled cast! Accompanied by an outstandingly accomplished pianist and... More

Love the Red Barn, but Clark Gable Slept Here is not the quality performance the theatre has preformed in the past. Sixty minutes of the F word and a very shallow plot.

My wife and I normally go to a local theater in our RV travels around the country. We have been to the one in Marathon but this time we thought we would try the Red Barn in Key West. The venue is cozy and would normally provide a great experience. We attended Wed night Feb 25 and were thoroughly disappointed... More

Boring, vulgar and immature is how I would rate this one hour play. The cast was talented but the play was an 8th grade production with loads of inappropriate swearing and a trite plot.

Fantastic night at Red Barn, seeing 'Clark Gable Slept Here'. Tiny theatre just off busy Duval Street. Comfortable seats, great little bar, friendly people. Very professional performance of a funny play. It was like being at a show at the Edinburgh Fringe, but with much better weather. Seek it out!

The Last Night of Ballyhoo was my first show at the Red Barn Theatre. Parking can be a challenge as it can in all of Key West, so leave early. Cocktails are available for purchase prior to the show. The theatre is small which makes you feel as if you are a part of the story and being able to... More

When I visit a place, I love to see local theater. It really gives me a feel for the community. You sit among both locales and tourists. I am so glad I went to see The Last Night of Ballyhoo at the Red Barn Theatre. It's tucked behind The Hard Rock Cafe on Duvel Street. We ate at the Grand... More

Ive never been in a smaller, more intimate theater. There must be fewer than 80 seats, which by the way are comfortable theater style seats. Though not seated in a row near the stage, I felt so close to it that I thought at any moment I would become part of the play, which was excellent and with professional actors.... More

We have been to this little theatre a few times. Each play was very well-done. This one was particularly enjoyable. Local ushers. Lots of excellent local talent. Great evening.
