The Last Night of Ballyhoo was my first show at the Red Barn Theatre. Parking can be a challenge as it can in all of Key West, so leave early. Cocktails are available for purchase prior to the show. The theatre is small which makes you feel as if you are a part of the story and being able to... More

When I visit a place, I love to see local theater. It really gives me a feel for the community. You sit among both locales and tourists. I am so glad I went to see The Last Night of Ballyhoo at the Red Barn Theatre. It's tucked behind The Hard Rock Cafe on Duvel Street. We ate at the Grand... More

Ive never been in a smaller, more intimate theater. There must be fewer than 80 seats, which by the way are comfortable theater style seats. Though not seated in a row near the stage, I felt so close to it that I thought at any moment I would become part of the play, which was excellent and with professional actors.... More

We have been to this little theatre a few times. Each play was very well-done. This one was particularly enjoyable. Local ushers. Lots of excellent local talent. Great evening.

There are no bad seats in this small theater. Easy to hear and a variety of plays. Each time I come to Key West I enjoy the Red Barn. Tables on the patio to meet with others, open bar for a casual drink. I don't like all the plays, but I always enjoy the atmosphere and the sets.

this is a Very cute little theater tucked back off Duval. The Acting was quite good. Apparently this is a Key West Institution and actually was one reason we chose Key West. All the regular Souht Florida theaters were dark right after new years!

In a very intimate small theater, you can't help but be up close and personal with the actors. Not a bad seat in the house. The play my husband and I went to was a knock-'em dead comical and I laughed at how much my husband laughed. The actors were just as talented as the many many plays I've seen... More

Key West was two professional theaters--Red Barn and Waterfront Playhouse--both worth a visit at any time. Red Barn is off the beaten path, literally. It's at the end of an alley off Duval Street--The Strip for Key West. Turn up the pathway between the Key West Women's Club and Hard Rock Café, and the Red Barn is at the back... More

The play "Poetry of Hearts: that we saw was great and the performers were excellent. The stage setting was well done - not what I expected in Key West. The theater had a little bar and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening - drinks and a great play.
