This is not a 'swimming beach' that most of us are use to outside of the Florida Keys. The water is very rocky and not good for little kids. It is a great place for snorkaling.

The attraction offers alot. It offers snorkeling , beach , fishing, aquarium and theatre ,and boat trips. We took the glass bottom boat out to a reef and enjoyed seeing all the fish and sea life first hand. We don't snorkle or dive, but they have boat trips for this also. The attraction shows as being in Key West but this is actually in Key Largo\Tavernier (100 miles away). From US 1, just follow the signs to the park oceanside at around MM 92\93.
There is a cute little sandy beach here, man made, with a walled in half circle around it probably to hold in the sand and reduce wind\waves....

My kids and I have been going to this Beach/Park for a few years since beaches are (believe it or not) few and far between in the Keys. We like this because its safe for smaller kids to swim in the "corral" - a seawall was built - and there is a playground and picnic areas. Its a quiet area...
