Florida can be pretty dog unfriendly, but at least there's a place that welcomes dogs. I just wish it was bigger.

This was our dog's first trip to the ocean (she's about 18 months old) and she's not used to the waves yet. We had traveled through Florida and she went on a couple pet-friendly beaches on the way and got her toes wet, and enjoyed walking on the beach. We were at Key West for three days, and took a... We rented bicycles on the port cruise dock pier. The land is flat so this is a great way to see all Key West has to offer. Peddled down Duval St., took pictures at Route 1 begin and end sign...just imagine this same road goes all the way north to Maine! Made it to the Southern Most Point in USA... More

This is a tiny little beach, where dogs are not only allowed, but have priority over people. Your dog will love it here if they like the water.

Tiny in comparison to other dog parks but nice to have something where our dog can play, swim, socialize, etc. The view is nice and there is a bar next door.

IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR BABY PUPPY TO KEY WEST: First off, stop being so selfish. There are no dog museums or bars and very soon hardly and dog friendly restaurants in Key West. They deserve to have fun in Paradise as well. Find it on the map, right next to Louie's Backyard (hell of a spot). Sometimes hippie kids... More

Yes, it's small, tucked away next to a fancy restaurant overlooking the water. But, it's good for the dogs and frankly, do you really want to be chasing your dog all over a gigantic beach? Our dog loved it, and it helped him get some energy out and he left us alone the rest of the night - let's be... More

When we got there, it was hard to believe the sliver of sand we were looking at was the Dog Beach. There was one other dog there, so we stayed. We noticed that there was some dog poop there, so we stayed away from that. The small beach quickly became crowded and a guy showed up with a Pit Bull... More
