I am lucky enough to have played some of the finest courses in the country. For what they charge tourists to golf here, you may expect something amazing. Sadly, this is not the case. What you need to consider is their location. It is tough to grow lush green grass in this environment and water is very expensive in the... More

I played a round with one of the Key West locals. I got to learn a lot about the island on this trip. The course was pretty nice, very open. I rented clubs and had a 1 oclock tee time and it was only $95. I've been to Hawaii where it would have cost 2-3 times that. More

I played every morning at 6:40 am, as a solo and got around quickly. Fairly nice track; could use some more sand in the bunkers. Take more club than you think; all the greens are elevated and play long. Greens roll good. More

Perfect weather, sunny and in the middle 70s. The course was in excellent shape and play moved along nicely. A very enjoyable and friendly course with some challenging holes, but overall a fun.course. A little pricey, ($102.13) but worth it. More

We had a 9:45 tee time and waited on the first tee for 40 minutes before we started. We finished our round at 3:25 a total of 5:40, the longest round of golf in my life!! We asked the starter (who was at the clubhouse not on first tee) about the slow start and he said "that's the way it... More

We golfed after a day of heavy rain and asked about the condition of the course - we were told the course was in "great shape - we have good drainage". We couldn't drive on many cart paths, they were so flooded. The bunkers were all flooded - deeply flooded. We were basically driving around in mud the whole time.... More

For a public golf course in South Florida, the KW Golf Club is very challenging. It is not long but there are plenty of lateral hazards, water and sand. More

Ok... I'm typing for hubby. He liked this course because the ball bounced forever and he had amazing drives! Actually, he was a single golfer and the club did a great job of hooking him up with someone else to golf with (and gave me time on the beach with a novel!) and he had a great time. He saw... More

Small course is the only one on Key West. Practice tee is an enclosed screened area. You don't come to Key West to play golf here. More
