This is a very clean, well maintained concealed beach that wasn't crowded. We went here because the coast was experiencing an immense amount of seaweed washing up on the shoreline which made the beaches smell bad and not good for swimming/sunning, but we found this beach with reasonably priced chair rentals...a good snack bar and clean sand/water. It is small,... More

Small, intimate beach next to the Hyatt hotel. Snack shack, a small parking area, and lounge chairs available for rent. Live music on some days. Nice beach sand, though its rocky when you get in the water. More of a locals place - worth a stop to cool off and take a break from shopping.

We went looking for some beach time and found Simonton Street Beach. This was a rocky postage stamp sized beach with tons of seaweed. IF you have watershoes and don't mind seaweed wrapping around you, you can wade into about your waist; a rope prevents you from going further due to boat traffic. Don't waste your time.

Small and off the beaten path, this beach is a secret spot that most tourists never see. There is a small cafe on-site serving delicious food and cold drinks.

small beach with limited space. claim your chair before noon and you feel like your at a private beach. On beach food shack has great fish taco's and cheap beer. Frozen drinks are tasty. For in town folks its a great half day.

Small sandy beach with great food and drinks. We loved the hogfish tacos. They were light, flavorful, and even came with a chocolate chip cookie. The beach was sandy and perfect for our 18mo daughter. I feel like we discovered a hidden gem.

The water is crystal clear & warm & great for the kids to snorkel in or just play! The little bar lagger-heads is on this beach & the staff there are lovely & friendly! They serve amazing... More

We arrived at the beach just as the small restaurant and beach house were opening for the day. We paid a small fee and rented the loungers and umbrella. The area was clean, and had white soft sand under foot. The sights were terrific and we enjoyed a relaxing three hours listening to the waves.

Small, but nice/ clean beach. Close to restaurants and bars and a few blocks from Duval St. There's a very nice beach stand that serves food and drinks as well. May want to get to the beach early and find a good spot to sit since it's not very big. I would definitely return when in KW.

At the south end of Simonton and Duval Streets, this beach is a hidden gem. Compact but large enough for a decent number of swimmers, it has good sandy base (note that Key West has to import its sand so it may not be as comfortable in regard to texture) for setting up a chair and an umbrella for the...
