Where else can you see a young lady sitting at a bar with a large live snake draped around her arm. At first I thought she just had a colorful bracelet.

I loved the look of this place, full of nooks & crannies and places to explore. There are a few interesting shops and some picturesque restaurants which we didn't have time to try, unfortunately.

Its a treat to see these big sail boats like the Western Union - the oldest -schooner and flag ship of Florida - to the newest schooner the America 11. There are also many fine restaurants there including Schooner Warf with live music day and night. Its also great to see the fishing boats come in and flay their catch.... More

Always fun to walk thru here and look at all the different boats. Fun places to stop for a cold one or snack.

We walk the marina and seaport area each time we visit Key West. The boats (especially at night) are nice and there's always big fish (tarpin and manatees) to be found swimming around somewhere. There are nice shops and it's a great way to transit from Flagler Museum down toward Mallory Square in a short amount of time.

The path runs along a lot of restaurants and is also good for people watching and looking at all the boats/ships. Walk around, stop in one of the establishments for a libation and relax.

Great opportunity to see the different types of boats from luxury yatchs to fishing vessels and schooners. feed the huge tarpon or catch a good meal at Turtle Kraals.

The Seaport has a great set of attributes - it's right on the marina, has a selection of inside and outside seating at restaurants and bars, great local seafood and well preserved vintage buildings. We landed at the Commodore restaurant, but the others looked equally good.

Amen to Donna H (previous reviewer): especially if you are a family, skip upper Duval Street and spend your time here. Great people- and boat-watching, activities including 2 small and interesting museums, large assortment of restaurants and shops generally with more 'grown-up' (i.e. less drunken tacky) atmosphere than upper Duval.
