My husband and I took a tour of the reef off of Key West on a glass bottom boat through Discovery. Initially, we intended to book this through a competitor, but when calling to make reservations, they informed us their glass bottom boat was dry docked all week. So, we booked through Discovery. We took the tour on Discovery GB Boat on our recent Key West vacation. We chose Discovery over Fury because the tour was shorter, 2 hours instead of 3 and it cost less. Fortunately we had a perfect day for a boat ride, sunny, warm, calm, otherwise it wasn't worth the money. Cost was about $40 for each, look for... more

This was our first glass bottom boat tour so we don't really have anything to compare it with. The trip out to the reef was nice, and the tour guide was very helpful with information regarding the area on the trip to the reef, and once we arrived at the reef provided information on the reef and the marine life... more

I have been on many boats before, and sometimes I have been a bit queasy. But, for some reason, this boat tour made me incredibly sick, I was suffering intensely for the entire trip. At first I thought it was only me, but then I noticed, like the post on 1/22, about 1/3 of the passengers were feeling quite ill.... more

The trip out to the reef on the boat was great. The staff was very nice and it was fairly informative. However, if you get the least bit motion sick you may want to rethink this. Once we got out to the reef, stopped the boat, and went under to look through the glass bottom about 1/3 of the passengers... more

The glass bottom boat was amazing. A five foot shark was right in front of my eyes, very neat. The crew was especially well informed, and very accomodating. I would suggest this to anyone, especially families with young children more

After you check in to your hotel or b&b, the first stop should be the Discovery Glass Bottom Boat! You can not go wrong with this trip. See all the undersea life that te keys has to offer! Best little cruise my wife and I ever had! Thanks Ken more
