Featuring over 500 exhibits in nearly 10,000 square feet of air conditioned comfort. As seen on TV. Your self guided tour will take you through 13 themed galleries containing some of the most unusual objects, items, and collections, in the world. Robert Ripley traveled to over 200 countries in his lifetime collecting oddities everywhere he went. Featured items include: a shrunken human torso which once belonged to renowned writer, Ernest Hemingway. We also display Hemingway's own typewriter and reading glasses! As you enter Ripley's Key West Museum, you walk under a prehistoric Mastodon skeleton, stroll past a car completely covered in US dimes, and come face to face with the world's tallest man, Robert Wadlow, who at age 22, stood an amazing 8' 11" tall! Take a picture with him and his 9ft ruler to see how you compare. And that's just the lobby! Inside you'll see video clips from the top rated TBS television series starring Dean Cain, stand next to Miracle, the actual white buffalo who’s odds of being born pure white are one in ten million, then try your best to remain upright as you inch your way through the Vortex Tunnel, a totally mind-blowing experience. And that's still not all! Meet the world's heaviest man, a shark attack survivor, and the original vampire known as Vlad The Impaler. But don't worry, because we also have a vampire killing kit... just in case. « less

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and enjoyed it! The price wasn't bad (about $15 per person.) and lots to see and do! It took us about an hour to get through the whole thing! Well worth it! Cool art pieces and lots of interesting facts! I had a nice time.. (And so did he surprisingly)

Takes about an hour. The exhibits are fun and interesting to see. Maybe a little pricey but definitely will make the kids happy!

Not spectacular but the kids had a great time. They really enjoyed it. The cost of admission is not too expensive. It was a good place to go into on a very hot day. I would pass on going a second time.

Personally I only went to this attraction for my 8 yr old daughter. Some of the exhibits were interesting but for the most part this is something for the youngesters to see.

So we have a 19 year old son who really doesn't want to do anything when we travel, EXCEPT go to every Ripley's museum in existence. So we went to this one, mostly just to have something to do as a family. Adults' review: it was identical to all other Ripley's anywhere. Son's review: 4*, very interesting, better than some... More

We stopped here on a rainy day because there's not too much else to do in key west when it's raining. It was very interesting and I was surprised by how long it took us to get through. This place is great for kids and adults. I was interested the whole time and would recommend for others.

Not for most young children as they can easily be bored with all the reading. Great fun for adults. The best part for the kids is the Hand Wax Stand at the entrance of the museum. You do not have to pay to enter the museum to have the kids enjoy this fun experience of having a wax replica of... More

I have been to a few Ripley's Museums in Florida and this one is not the best, but it was still fun and interesting. We already knew most of the local stories that were mentioned in the Museum as we had taken the Conch Train Tours around the city. They had discussed most of those stories already. Above all it...
