The Tropic is run by volunteers who love film. The concessions are great -- beer, wine & cider; delicious snacks & ice cream, fresh popcorn; plus the usual candy and soda. Get there a little early to chat with the volunteers and enjoy a glass of wine in the lounge. Tip: towards the back of the lobby to the left,... More

The cinema was reminiscent of the old style theatres. Loved the blending bags and flavors you could add at the bar provided. Very nice touch! Lovely chance to cool off on a super hot and humid afternoon!

Super cute little cinema right off Duval Street. Perfect place to escape to in the middle of a hot day. Individuals theaters are small but charming. The entire place is also very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Very nice selection of drinks and snacks. Also try Glazed Donuts next door.

The building has been lovingly restored and you are invited to enjoy great snacks and adult beverages while watching your movie. A great way to spend a rainy... More

Makes a really nice change from big multi-plexes. A smart, stylish place run by enthusiasts. Great 3D set-up.
