Like comedy? Like musicals? Like drama? Well this is the place to be. Top professional local actors and some imports from New York consistently give wonderful performances. The artistic director is as good as any I've met anywhere in the U.S. You will love spending an evening here.

Want to have a fun night of entertainment in an intimate little theater, then be sure to visit the Waterfront Playhouse on Mallory Square some evening while in Key West. The venue is small but the seating is comfortable and not a bad seat in the place. It is located near Mallory Square and a easy place to locate. We saw a show there and this was the first time we had been to the Playhouse. I would good back to see another show there.

We went during Fantasyfest (they have a special Burlesques show for that week). We had no previous expectations. The theater was small. We had front row tickets at a modest cost but there are no bad seats. You could have had seats on the stage and would have participated in the show. I was amazed at the level of detail... More

I'm a really tough grader or I would have given it 5 stars. I love the fact that you can watch the sunset at Malory Square and then walk 100 feet to watch a play at the Waterfront

Shows are generally cast from local actors who are true professionals. Each show is a gem! 5-6 shows per season plus special events. All worth your time. Check the website waterfrontplayhouse.org for schedules and tix.

This review is for the production, more than the venue. While pleasant, well located and nicely kept, it was the play that made this particular visit.

Outstanding - you will think you are seeing a show in NYC. The costumes, the scenery, the make-up, the props, not to mention the actors, are the BEST of the BEST.
