Had a great time paddle boarding. Went through the mangroves and learned so much from our tour guide. I can't remember her name. I think it was Lisa. She was so informative. I learned a lot about the area I never knew. She was very professional and patient with us who had never been paddle boarding before. Even Captain Wendy... More

Our family of 4 went out with Captain Wendy this morning, and what a perfect day it was. We took the 3 in 1 trip, sailing from the harbor into the Key West National Wildlife Refuge where we kayaked around the edge of a mangrove swamp. This was our first time kayaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The kayaks were... More

Java Cat sail, kayak, snorkel was everything as billed. With the extras of performing dolphins, A10 Warthogs (provided by the USAF). Captain Bethany did an excellent job, working efficiently by herself while teaching us much about the varied and awesome ecosystems of the "lakes" and the mangrove islands. The small size of the tour makes it personal and fun. We... More

My family had a wonderful trip on the Java Cat with Captain Wendy. We booked a half-day kayaking and snorkeling trip. Our family of five was treated to a beautiful morning on the water. We kayaked through Archer Key, getting to see crabs, sea turtles, birds, a nurse shark, and a snake. We were able to view 10-30 different species... More

We did the half day kayaking and snorkeling trip. We saw lots of wildlife including dolphins, turtles, several different kinds of birds, a shark, lobsters, and many other fish. The water was warm and clear. Our guide, John, was super nice and very knowledgeable.

My wife and I did the half day snorkeling and kayaking trip on the Java Cat. It was an all-around wonderful experience. The boat holds a max of 6 passengers, so you really feel like you're riding on your own personal boat. Our captain, Kelsey, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were blessed with extremely calm seas on the day... More

My husband and I did the half day sail, kayak and snorkel trip with Wendy as captain. We had an amazing time. There was only one other couple so it was a smaller more personalized experience. We absolutely loved the kayaking around the national refuge and even saw a nurse shark.

My wife and I loved this excursion which included three fun activities into one trip. Kelsey was our captain and guide for the trip and was very professional and very knowledgeable about Key West history and local flora and fauna. We especially loved the intimate nature of the experience due to the fact that the Java cat only takes six... More

It's always nice to be treated with respect and that is exactly the way it was on the Java Cat. Bethany created a calm, relaxing atmosphere that was much appreciated. The tour is limited to six people, perfect for our small family group. I highly recommend this trip, the kayaking was fascinating as we paddled through the mangroves and the... More
