Not many get to the Western Dry Rocks, a great place to snorkel and worth the trip out there on a nice boating day

We went to the Western Dry Rocks with Island Adventure. We've been snorkling in many places. We thought the variety and colors of the coral were the best we've seen. There was a great variety of fish some in schools. Great trip.

Went to the WDR on Seaduction Dive shops boat. Had a great dive with the family. Plenty of marine life to see. Must do for divers in Key West.

Because its a little further out, the commercial snorkel boats don't come here so you'll probably have it to yourself. Its not protected so you can spearfish here or grab a lobster. Can be a bit rolly in any wind.

Not much boat traffic here. Normally, very clear warm with some underwater surprises.

Just went on a snorkling trip here! It was great. Fan corral, sharks, turtles and fish galore!

I went on two snorkeling trips and the second one that went to the Western Dry Rocks was much better than Sand Key. Most of the trips go to Sand Key, but our boat, KW Bone Island Sunset Watersports went further and provided a better experience.

The water... it is indeed blue - we went out to a place where it was 100 ft - most places around there the water averages between 6 to 30 feet - for miles and miles - you would never guess, as you look out toward the horizon, that as far as you can see the water stays at those... More
