I can't say enough good things about the sail we had! The crew clearly loves what they do and was a joy to watch command the schooner and talk with. The captain and crew clearly love this ship that is made like no other. Snacks, drinks, sails up! Worth every penny! Now, James! Get us each a drink!! All kidding... More

Went on a Sunset cruise. I enjoyed very much. The captain and his staff were so wonderful. My only complaint was not enough fruit and cheese to go around. There were 4 of us on this and only 1 of us got to actually get something. We thought they would bring out more but never did. Other then that it... More

Great time on the Appledore V. Captain Katie, Ben and Steve were great, we had a great time, about 10 of us so it was very nice. Alcohol and cheese, fruit and crackers. We really enjoyed it! Better than a cat boat or a cruise with dozens of people!

We wanted to get out on the water with our 14 month old but knew snorkeling or other activities would be difficult. We chose this trip and enjoyed it. It wasn't cheap, $59 per adult and $29 for a child, but it was worth it for us. No strollers were allowed on the boat so we used a baby carrier... More

Perfect for those who don't want a booze cruise or a loud party boat. You actually get to sail - it is nice and quiet. Great refreshments - good selection of wine and beer and wonderful cheese and fruit serve during sunset. Very friendly crew and the boat is beautiful.

Great food, beverages and activities. Snorkeling, parasail, jet ski, kayaks, swimming, and lounging. Once you are done with power water sports, adults can have all the beer or wine you want. Capt. Sweeney, Beth & Chico were very attentive and encouraged all to participate if you wanted to.

Took this boat in Cambden, Maine during the summer. It relocates to Key West in the winter. Pleasant boating experience with a capable and knowledgeable crew. Nice roomy boat with a bar on deck. Captain did a good guided tour pointing out things of interest. This is the second year we have taken this boat and enjoyed each trip .

This was a very relaxing fun way to tour from the water. The Captain and staff were all friendly. We especially enjoyed Pirate John. He recited a few nautical poems and even read some of this own. The drinks were great. They even helped a couple get their dogs down the ramp and then let their grand-daughter steer the boat.

The captain and crew were great. I love sailing and the Appledore is a beautiful schooner. The small number of guests made it relaxing and the sunset was beautiful. A little more wind would have been nice but the captain sailed as much as she could and then motored when it was too calm. Nice snacks and "refreshments" too.
