As the only air-service, we are by far the most exciting and convenient way to reach the Dry Tortugas, one of North America's most inaccessible National Parks. Being in a small plane and landing on water was not really my idea of fun but I'm so glad we decided to do this---it was amazing! The staff were wonderful and very professional; even the coolers were organized. But the real star was the scenery we were privileged to see during this trip. Flying low over the shallow water... Breath taking and amazing. I have over 50 pics plus videos from this amazing experience. It is totally worth the money. It's a small plane that flies low so you absolutely feel more motion. If you think you might get sick, take dramamine. It can't get a little toasty in there as it is a bush plane... small vents in... More

Hands down, one of the best adventures that we have ever been on! The staff was very friendly and our pilot Evan made our trip that much more extraordinary. The view from the plane was phenomenal; we were able to experience a different view of The Keys from the air! How many times in your life do you get the... More

I don't know if the tour was good because the plane malfunctioned three minutes after take off and we had to turn around. Our trip was cancelled and money refunded because we were leaving the next day. I understand equipment failure. But there was no apology and the man that works there is sorely lacking in customer skills. If you... More

It needs to be. I'll begin by saying that I've been so very fortunate to have traveled the world. Whitewater rafting in Thailand, scuba diving in the Red Sea, hiking in Jordan, sailing off the coast of Australia...just to name a few. And this experience RANKS AT THE TOP. The staff at Key West Seaplane Adventures are TOP NOTCH. Stephanie... More

Trip was everything we were hoping for! Easy parking and departure from key west airport. Captain is very nice, crew provides cooler with drinks for your trip, along with snorkel gear. 40 minute plane trip to the island, with plenty to see along the way. Music and some commentary provided through headphones. Dry tortugas park is amazing, make sure you... More

First of all, yes it's expensive. I paid more for these plane tickets than the ones from out of state. BUT, it is completely worth it!! We took the first plane out that day so when you arrive on the island there is barely anyone there. The ride itself is smooth, our pilot was great and you could sit in... More

Visited first week of April with my husband. This trip is a must! A bit pricey, but well worth it. We took the FIRST seaplane to the island. The ferry doesn't arrive until 10:30AM so you have the island to yourself until then. We took at brielf walk around the fort and snorkeled the remaining time. I wish the tour... More

This was easily the highlight of our trip to Key West. My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and thought the idea of flying in a seaplane (something neither of us had ever done) out to the most inaccessible National Park in the country sounded like an adventure. We weren't disappointed! The plane is small (maybe 10 seats), but... More

My wife and I did this trip as part of our adventurous honeymoon on Key West. It's expensive but well worth it! It is roughly a 35 minute plane ride from Key West flying at an altitude of 500 feet. On your way to the island you will be afforded views of the many ship wrecks that dot the seafloor... More
