My wife and I took the 8am flight out of Key West to the Dry Tortugas for some snorkeling and exploring of Fort Jefferson. Our pilot Evan was terrific and landing and taking off from the water could not have been smoother. Key West Seaplane Adventures will also provide you with a cooler, ice, and drinks (soda and water) if... More

This trip was so worth the money! I think the other reviewers have covered most of the facts about the sights and activities, so I will mention a couple of things I didn't see in a recent review: consider staying the full day if you can afford it. We only did a half day and once we explored the fort... More

We went the second week of December and debated between taking the boat to Dry Tortugas or flying the seaplane with KWSA. The weather is still nice this time of the year. We were so glad that we paid the extra money for the flight! We got to the island around 10am and left at 4pm. We had the whole... More

Our party of 4 recently took this excursion to the Dry Tortugas and it did not disappoint. The crew who did the orientation was helpful and friendly. The flight was right on time and one of us in the group was asked by the laid-back pilot to sit up front with the him which was an awesome experience. The plane... More

Two visiting friends and I took the earliest flight to Dry Tortugas/Fort Jefferson. Beginning to end the BEST. I've lived in Key West 11 years and never flew out before. Excellent and enthusiastic ground crew. Reviewed safety features and handed out water and snorkel gear. Pilots looked a little scruffy but what the heck. Blue water, blue sky, smooth air... More

The Ocean is the only living organism known to us that would possess immortality. The endless immense frozen tundra, the majestic glaciers, even the Polar Cup itself, they are all in danger today and only the vast, at times blue and at times green, breathing and living mass of the Ocean is omnipotent, all-inclusive, self-contained. You will be able to... More

If you are debating whether to fly or take the ferry to the Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson, all I can say is spend the money! The flight on the DeHavilland Otter seaplane is wonderful. The pilots are fun, barefoot, but experienced in flying in Alaska, where the company is based. We saw rays, sea turtles, sharks, and even dolphins,... More

Professional and very well run. Set up on online and every detail is as described on the website (you cant say that often) Took the 8:00 trip and would highly recommend it. The fort is cool and you can see almost all of it in 45 minutes. There are huge hermit crabs, but in reality the two and a half... More

flew to the Dry Tortugas........first trip to KW and also a seaplane. Thought about the ferry but made the right decision to fly. Yes, it's more expensive but the views from the plane were amazing and didn't have to spend 2 hours plus, each way, on the ferry. I was lucky to be the last one on the plane (#10)... More
