For all of those who are motion sensitive but enjoy adventure this is the only way to go see Dry Tortugas. First flight out allows you time on the island before the crowd gets there. We flew over the tour boat on our way out, spent half the day exploring the fort and spending a short time snorkeling before heading... More

What a great expierence. The seaplane ride was just as much of the adventure as the Dry Tortugas was! Great crew and a well run outfit. Thanks for the awesome day and the memories that will last a lifetime. To all the people that may be considering this or the ferry, there is no comparison. For a little more money... More

My goal is to get to all the US National Parks, so the Dry Tortugas was #1 on my list on our Key West vacation. My husband can get seasick, and after reading reviews for the boat, I decided we'd better fly. Besides, it's only half a day instead of all day. I made the reservations months ahead. Unfortunately our... More

I have flown to Fort Jefferson three times. I can tell you that the service and attention to detail makes it entirely worth the cost of the plane instead of the ferry. I fly in small aircraft regularly as part of my job (several times a week, minimum) and can tell you that although the aircraft may be a little... More

Incredible, beautiful Dry Tortugas. Quiet beach with amazing, clear water snorkeling right from the beach. The water is so salty that you easily float. Just the sea plane ride there and back is worth the price. My only regret is that we did not opt for the full day. We went back and forth on changing our trip days based... More

This is a beautiful place to visit. We loved the seaplane ride. It's very smooth from take off to landing. The view is spectacular. You've never seen so many shades of blue and green. We saw sea turtles and ship wrecks. We went two days after a storm so the water was a murky blue; harder to see the fish... More

Going to the Dry Tortugas is an awesome experience and well worth the time and money to get there! That said, going by seaplane (and this is the only vendor that is authorized to fly there) is a great experience. Don't let the fact that they have a monopoly fool you into thinking the service will be ho hum. They... More

If you're in Key West, Dry Tortugas is a must see and going by Key West Seaplane Adventures is the way to go! This was the highlight of our Key West visit and we only did the half day trip and that was enough for us. John was our pilot and was a great tour guide. We saw a lot... More

Every aspect of our seaplane adventure was enjoyed. We were able to arrange a last minute reservation, were impressed the safety and efficiency of the operation. Traveling with two teens, the plane was a hit in itself. The views and light commentary during the flight were remarkable. The time and private feel on Dry Tortugas was a privilege. Be sure... More

My 12-year old son and I did the half-day trip to the Dry Tortugas. We both agreed that it was the highlight of our trip to the Keys. Everyone on the plan has his/her own window seat. The plan ride out to the Dry Tortugas gives you plenty of opportunity to see Key West, the surrounding islands, and lots of... More
