Take a quick boat ride out to the National Wildlife Refuge for a guided tour around and through one of the many untouched mangrove islands. We often see such things as: a variety of birds, sharks, rays, turtles, lobster, crabs etc. Kayaking is followed by snorkeling in either a natural sponge garden, small boat wreck or coral reefs not visited by the larger companies. All ages are welcome. We love what we do and enjoy sharing it with others! *Private charters available. « less

We spent a week in Key West and did a lot of touristy things. By far the most memorable experience was the crystal kayaks. Paddling through the mangroves was amazing. The tour guide was really into his job and you could sense the passion for what he does. Highly recommend.

We learned a great deal about the birds and plants at the keys from our great guide.

This was our first Eco-tour and our first time in kayaks. Jeff made us feel comfortable and we didn't feel 'rushed to keep up". Jeff had a great sense of humor. We went to Archer Key and kayaked through the mangroves. Saw several species of fish and a dozen Osprey. Then we went snorkling and although nothing great, it was... More

Dont get me wrong, it was neat and different, but i just was NOT impressed. $100 is pretty darn steep for the lack of scenery. Yeah going through mangroves was cool, but i was expecting scenes like that of the lady in the pictures, where you can see reef rock and clear blue water.....that's NOT the case. If i were... More

Wanted to get out on the water and see some local scenery beyond the bars and restaurants. Had a great time with the captain and guide. They were friendly and clearly well versed in what they do. Always let us know what to expect and made sure we were aware of what we were seeing. Besides the water creatures, we... More

We had a lovely afternoon. Great Captain and crew. We kayaked and snorkeled. Snacks, chatting, met nice folks. A great way to see the back country and many beautiful fishes and birds. I highly recommend it.

The day we went was an overcast and windy day, but we still had a great time! Jeff and Chris have it down to a science to minimize the work and maximize the experience. They got us started at one end, the wind pushed us to the other end, and the boat picked us up with almost no paddling against... More

I'm mixed about this company. I met the owner and he seemed like a nice guy. The boat captain was friendly and efficient. The idea of "glass bottom" kayaks is pretty unique, and the concept of an eco-tour without alcohol was appealing. Unfortunately, the guide struck me as a little too impressed with himself. He told a few fairly lame... More

We vacation in Key West every year, and stumbled on these guys at the marina during our most recent stay. I cannot say enough good things about the guys and the experience! So much fun, so educational for my children and myself. We always snorkel, but it is so much better on Clearly Unique Charters because it is a very... More

My friend and I wanted to go kayaking, and "Clearly Unique" was recommended by our hotel. It truly was a unique experience. Both Captain Matt and his associate Chris were veterans of the Key West backwaters and very knowledgable about the flora and fauna. They were also very good kayaking and snorkeling instructors for those who had never done either.... More
