Cheryl and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with John . His knowledge and passion of the local flora and fauna and his smooth articulate narration of everything going on made us feel like we were part of he landscape. We hope to see him again. Jeff & Cheryl

If you have a chance to go out on the water at Key West, this is a must. Captain John with Java Cat was perfect. Very knowledgeable and relaxed, he got on well with all of us including our college age daughters. We would all do it again the next time we go to Key West.

Captain John obviously loves the environment and is very knowledgable. A very pleasant kayaking and snorkeling adventure for a small group. (this is not the tour you should take if you want to jump off of a boat with a crowd of drunk people) Very laid back and pleasant. Highly recommend.

Excellent tour. Our guide, John, was great. Small tour size of up to 6 people make for a comfortable setting to learn and discuss the rich history of key west. Kayak and snorkeling was fun. Highly recommend java cat tour.

I don't think our experience could have been better. Our guide John gave us a very knowledgable and entertaining experience. We saw everything from young baricudas to bottle nose sharks and stingrays during the snorkeling and kayaking. Clean spotless catamaran with a nice lunch. I will recommend this very highly.

Captain John made for a great experience. Even my snorkel shy wife got involved. Time went too fast. Saw lots of wildlife.

Knowledgeable, funny, agile, and cool as a sea cucumber, Captain John just rocked our eco-tour on November 24th. We went for an afternoon trip, which launched at 2pm, giving us enough time to learn about the local marine ecology and its importance to the sustainability of The Keys, as well as to catch a sunset over refreshments and some food...
