Dove a two tank dive, the first was Joe's Tug, and the second was a reef dive, The Humps. The boat was older, but clean, and laid out for diving. The deck hands, Patrick, and Austin were helpful, and professional. The safety checked gear, explained each dive, and assured that each diver was prepared for the dive. The crew had... More

I reserved a dive with Lost Reef Adventures over the phone before arriving on my first trip to Key West. I talked with several other shops, but Lost Reef was the most helpful and explained the dive sites and conditions very completely. When I showed up for the dive the next morning, I was greeted by the divemaster, Patrick, and... More

I had ZERO dive experience. Lost Reef's staff put me at ease immediately and were nothing but professional and extremely attentive. My dive instructor, Luca (I'm sure I've misspelled this) was by far phenomenal. The pool training session left me totally confident that I could do the dive. I felt completely safe with her underwater, even when I had to... More

We dove at three different diving centers in Key West and Lost Reef Adventures are the best. Not only that there boat is in great shape and the groups are smaller than on other boats but the staff is very friendly and really good in explaining the places and giving tips. At other centers we experienced a monotone speech from... More

Did 4 dives with LRA last week. 3 on Vandenberg and 1 on Cayman Salvage. Viz was pretty crappy for the most part, but dives were still excellent. We hired Patrick to guide us (note - most dive companies I found in the Keys don't provide guides unless you hire one) and would have been absolutely lost if we had... More

We dove at Cayman and a reef.. Lucky that we were in 5 . But the boat was a fishing boat and not easy entrance.. People were nice and friendly. Price was fair.. Also it took 1 hour that I believe would take 1/2 in a best boat.. Well no complains.. Next day they put us at other diver operator..... More

Had two amazing days. Saw rays, nurse sharks, and my first hammer-head! Gear was well maintained. Regulators looked relatively new. Dive masters rocked. Were super helpful and incredibly professional. I've been to a lot of shops. These guys have it together. They carried our gear on and off the boat and didn't put us to work for them. Didn't have... My wife and I did a resort dive because we both have never tried scuba diving. We did some instructional things in a pool to get acclimated. Our instructor, Patrick, was literally the nicest most helpful guy ever. He basically held our hands throughout the whole and experience but wasn't suffocating. He definitely made us feel comfortable. Once we got... More

Recently was in Key West and went on a dive trip with Lost Reef Adventures. The initial check-in was done by a man who was not friendly at all. Not a smile anywhere on his face. Very matter of fact, try on this gear and go away kind of attitude. The boat was the oldest on this dock and has... More

I found Lost Reef after getting bumped from another boat due to engine problems. Not only did they accommodate me that same day, they went to two great sites, Joe's Tug and Nine Foot Stake. The crew was experienced, fun and helpful. I went out with them again the next day for two dives on the Vandenburg, the best wreck... More
