we had never been to key west, so this tour gave us a nice ride around the main attractions and through some of the neighborhoods. The train drivers are also your guides and they know a lot about the island. The hop on,hop off feature is nice too. We stopped at a few landmarks and then were able to get... More

We tried this to get the lay of the land in Key West. It is a great way to see where all the attractions are so you can plan the rest of your visit. This is a 90 minute tour that actually doubles back after touring near most attractions. You can hop off in 4 locations and get back on... More

We took the last run of the day. Purchased tickets at the Front/Duval St station. 1- This is not we met the train. it was two blocks away and had to walk at an extremely fast pace to make the trip. We parked Our car near Front/Duval St., and because this was the last run, you could not be returned... More

The tour is worthwhile because of the stories and the history. I was lucky to have a great tour guide, have heard of others not as lucky. We went on tour in am and learned the city and spent rest of day around city.

Not only does the Conch Train give you a good feel for the city, it provides excellent contextual and historical background for this fascinating city. Our tour guide, TJ, was such a delight. He is a true "born-and-raised" Key Wester (a.k.a. Conch). We were able to get our bearings, learn about the city, and plan what we wanted to see... More

Adult visitors enjoy scenery, history, stories of Key West and children enjoy the "train" and open air ride. 3 locations to begin trip or use as jump off points, or stay the whole trip, so you control length of stops and time on train. Food, facilities along the way. Very convenient and employees well informed and seem happy with their... More

Hesitated taking this excursion, but it turned out to be terrific. Engineer had his heart in the city and made us happy to be sharing his place. Lot of history, not too corny, but well worthwhile. Ticket good for two days.

We had a great guide. He seemed to love his job and that made the tour even more fun. You should do this tour when you first arrive because there are so many things you will notice after the tour, like the types of structures, the stars on many of the homes, interesting trees with a root structure like nothing... The train winds through the Key West area, while the driver points out many sights and gives some history of the town, including streets a little way from the main thoroughfares. This is a great way to get an overview of this popular tourist spot, and is very informative and worthwhile.

It was an informative train ride. Took you thru many neighborhoods and gave you a good history of the area. Our driver had a sing song voice was hard listen to but overall worth it
