As we were checking into our hotel, a guest who was leaving handed us two tickets for the Conch Train. One afternoon we needed a break from drinking and took the train. We were on Bob's train and he was an absolute delight. We were not sure if we would have taken the train if we didn't have the freebie... More

If you are in Key West and want to get a great sense of its history and geography, the Conch Tour Train is a must do. It takes you around the city to historical homes and buildings. Guides are locals deeply familiar with the significance of places that may currently be restaurants or stores but were once sites connected to... More

The Conch Train is a good way to get an overview of old town Key West . The full tour lasts 90 minutes and is narrated live by the drivers. I went around three times during my visit and each driver pointed out the same basic sights and gave the same basic information with minor (but interesting) variations. The streets... More

A good way to see all of the attractions and then decide where to return. It was a bit bumpy, but not unbearable. Our guide was fun and provided good information. It is hot, but then again you are in Key West - so that is not a surprise.

Not provided with the best script possible and really not worth the high price for what you get. We would not recommend it. Driver was polite ride was a bit rough. Do not sit in the back car. Tour did not stop enough.

We only had a short time on Key West as we were on a cruise ship. The first 45/50 minutes were a quick overview of the major island attractions. They drove you past the southern most point, Hemingway's House, etc. We got off and walked down Duval St. skipping one of the stops. It was nice to be able to... More

My mother and I rode the Conch Train while visiting Key West. While the personnel were all VERY nice, the experience was not worth the money ($29 per person). The ride itself can be a bit bumpy and uncomfortable at times. The tour presentation is not very interesting. And the train only has four stops. I would suggest taking the... More

Nice tour train. Personnel was friendly, train was nice and clean. The number if trains seemed minimal and the available tour stops was also minimal.

The ticket we purchased was actually good for 2 days which was a bonus because the history one driver shares is not what another driver might share. We got an excellent overview of the history of Key West. I recommend doing this ride the first day in Key West.

Perfect compliment to the Duvall St experience. Gets you off the beaten path and see alot of the nooks and crannies of Key West. Joe was a great guide and gave a ton of history. Pointed out many little facts that excentuated the experience. Enjoyed. Closes at 430, so be ready.
