My husband and I decided to do the tour to hear the history of the city and to see the sites before walking around aimlessly. The tour was very good;the tour guide pointing out interesting places and telling us the stories behind them, as well as showing us the more famous sites such as mile marker 0, the southernmost point,... So many things to do in Key West and lots of optional tours offered by the cruise line, but I found this a great way to see key points in Key West and then go out on your own to explore, shop or do your own pub crawl. After we rode on the conch train we were able to walk... More

The Conch Tour Train is a nice way to get an overview of the island and to enjoy the Key West architectural style. However, a fair WARNING: Unfortunately, through no fault of the tour company, this is an EXTREMELY bumpy ride throughout the 90 minute tour. If you have active neck or back problems (unfortunately I currently have both), this... More

Great way to see the sights of Key West and get an idea of where things are while learning some history along the way. Our tour guide, Captain Glenn was awesome. Nice balance between facts and funny, but not corny. He made the tour very interesting and interactive. You can save some money on the tickets by booking on-line.

Love the conch tours! It is the best way to see and learn all about the town. You can get off & on for two days! If we got tired we just rode the train for an hour and cooled off. Well spent money on this!

The Conch Train was a great choice to introduce us to Key West and the lay of the land before we started to hit the individual places. We had a very good guide who provided an almost non-stop narrative of the 1 1/2 hour tour. And later that day the "get on/get off" feature helped save our legs. Well worth... More

Just "happened" to find conch train tour when I was walking around. It was the highlight of my Key West visit! The tour guide was fun, engaging, knowledgable and I would highly recommend this tour to get an overview of the island before deciding on what to do - GREAT!!!

In February my husband and I and some friends took the ferry to Key West for the day. After arriving, we decided to take the train ride around the island. Since it was our first trip to Key West we wanted to see as much as we could in one day. We had several tour guides and all were very... More

The cute little yellow train cars were recommended in the AAA tour guide so we tried them. First, the price is a bit high….something like $64 for the two of us. Second, our driver/guide (Bryan) was very knowledgeable and friendly…however, he spoke about 100 words per second and drove like it was his last shift before vacation. You may wish... More

It was a good way to get from Key West Express dock to our hotel on Truman since we did not want to rent a vehicle. And it allowed us to see what to expect on the island since it was our first visit. We should have taken the second day but where having too much fun.
